While I am uncertain as to the ID of your plant, there are other people here with more experience that can tell you for sure what it is. However, I agree with Rosemarieo -- that your plant is a Kalanchoe synsepala variety. I would guess the plant is too wet, and likely in a very sunny window; perhaps one receiving direct sun. First, repot the plant into a well draining soil, such as Miracle Gro Catcus mix, and make sure your pot has a drainage hole. Before you place the plant into the new pot/soil, add some stones or potsherds on the bottom to increase drainability. Place the plant into its new home, then firm the soil around it. Drench the plant, but then let it dry out 1-2 inches down into the soil BEFORE you give it any more water. You don't want the soil to ever be soggy, and the plant shouldn't sit in standing water -- this will cause root rot. My next suggestion would be to move it to a position about 5 or 6 feet away from the window where it is currently situated (I'm guessing here). Too much direct sun can actually burn the leaves -- sunburn or scorch marks look a lot like the brownish spots on your plant. Lastly, to keep your plant's appearance up, you might consider cutting off some of the more affected leaves, but this is your to preference! Good luck!

I get it, you wanted a more crisp bright feel. One option is to make KD take the cabinets back and replace them with what you really wanted, and proceed with your original plan. Otherwise, it is fixable. The colors are relative to each other. There is no pure white. The cabinets only look dingy to your eye because they are next to the white trim, which is a white whiter than they are (and next to the stark awful drywall compound, as Val said). If you put an even creamier white next to the cabinets, THEY might very well look very white and crisp in comparison. So, assuming that you did make a mistake and the trim is too bright and is making them look dirty (which may be the case), you will need to re-paint the trim, and select a different blue for the wall. I do think the blue is too pastel now for the cabinets, it needs to be brought down some. How does the granite and backsplash go? Don't you worry, it is going to look beautiful. When we were having ours re-done and custom painted, I spent a whole afternoon crying because the color they promised was not the color that went on. But when it was over, it was just beautiful, and it all ended up very well. That will happen with your kitchen too, fear not.

I don't want to add to your trouble but that will quickly rot the facia,soffit and rafter tails leaving you with an expensive repair. That is one of the most common errors made by inexperienced remodel contractors. The usual remedy include's removing the cover to start over. The main problem is that cover can't be sloped enough so that water run's off without backing uphill and leaking between facia and cover. My solution for 90% of these is A, Remove cover while attempting to save as much material as possible. B. Add a gutter to house. C. Raise cover ABOVE roof on house or move cover away from roof of house. Leave room to replace shingles when time come's. If the mist coming between roof and cover when it rains bother's you, have a roofer install an apron in the gap.

My job is not quite DIY (but not quite a pro painter) since I am a handyman by trade (for the last 16 years) and do similar projects and do recommend much higher end materials, but my brother is on a budget since he is just trying to get the house sold and he lost his job roughly 8 or 9 months ago and has not been able to find a job since the holidays or COVID. Times have been tough and he is incapable of getting results like this on his own. I usually rent all my equipment and he does not even have the budget for that so I finally decided to purchase my own airless for his project. Everything was done the exact way a pro painter would have done it on the exception of the materials and not having layed the cabinet doors flat while spraying to allow the paint to self level. We used the cup hook and coat hanger method to save time even though you run the risk of having the paint run or not have proper coverage if you don't run the sprayer at the correct speed. Live_wire_oak, at some point everyone was not a professional and did not know how to paint, even you; you have to start somewhere and should be educating people without making them feel bad about their decisions. I did not expect a high end professional job, but neither did I expect a DIY result either.
