We have had an absolute NIGHTMARE experience with a F&P flat front, counter depth, stainless fridge. If it wasn’t so infuriating, it would be funny, especially if it wasn’t happening to you. it started making very strange noises a week before the 2 year warrantee expired. Sounded just like a car revving it’s engine. This was over 2 years ago now and it still isn’t fixed. This company does not stand behind their product, period. Their technician has made us feel like we were insane for thinking this wasn’t a normal sound. Lying to our faces about the most basic of issues and previous visits. Cancelled appointments, lost paperwork, wrong parts ordered, etc etc etc. it was been a complete farce of after sale customer service and support. We have every e-mail and paper document, countless video and audio files of this fridge making these crazy sounds and yet...... here we are.....just today..... the 3rd cancelled appointment this month alone by the local F&P service rep...... yep, you guessed it...... after waiting at home since 7am this morning for the scheduled service. Do NOT buy this brand. It’s simply not worth the incredible hassel you will face if anything breaks.... with, or without a warrantee.

Cycle and wash time varies depending on the selected soil level, plus the agitation action selected by the machine in response to the fabric-sensing process. The same soil level (Normal, highest, lowest, etc.) gives different wash times for different loads (heavy fabrics, light fabrics, medium fabrics, and various mixes thereof). I've not paid very close attention to total cycle time, but I'd guess a normal cottons load (towels, etc) runs about 40 to 45 mins.

Hi all, Here is my latest update. The repairman came out before the holidays and found that it was a bearing that needed to be replaced. They didn't have one in stock so they ordered it and he said to go ahead and keep using the dryer since it would be a while - over the holidays. Kept using the dryer - the squeak would eventually fade after it started to warm up a bit. They also ordered the new lint filter part. Repairman came back this week - installed the new lint filter part and so far so good, I can see an increase in lint in my bucket, but I still bet it will get caught behind the sensors at the bottom. Only time will tell. Now back to the bearing. He brought a new bearing but found that while I was using the dryer this whole time, it was also wearing out the "roller" part, so he now has to get a new roller part and another new bearing. It isn't making the squeaking sound any longer, but now makes more of a "roaring" sound - which is the roller kind of "wobbling" because it has worn down somehow due to using it w/ a bad bearhing. I'm still using the dryer because he put it back together with the new bearing and said you might as well use it since I'm going to replace the two parts - and I cannot go without a dryer for weeks at a time. Apparently the parts are still under warranty, but I think I'll still have to pay for the labor - I don't know what it will end up being, but he has been very good about the whole thing. Oh, and the soot, I saw plenty of soot when he opened up the dryer, but none of it has gotten on my clothes - I think the soot is the roller thingy and the bearing rubbing together. I haven't had problems getting service - I purchased from a store we have purchased other things from before and they have been good about sending someone out quickly because they sold me the machine - it seems that F&P takes time to send the parts - they come from CA and we are on the east coast. More to come when the machine is fixed for good (fingers crossed).

Trailrunner has it right about cleaning right away. In fact I may have just "Saved" our Elux oven, after the Thanksgiving Turkey "leaked" a bit onto the bottom of the oven. Wife saw it, & said "I gonna run the Self-clean". There was only one lil spot on the bottom of the oven, but if you read Wolf's care manual for the cobalt oven, You will see that's a "No NO" to just run the self clean for such deposits. I told her I would clean it for her, she said "No Biggie" and She did it herself,--that saved a lotta electricity and "Fate tempting" Anyway without "Further Ado" here is the wolf info, You should probably get that info for your oven manufacturer's cleaning recommendations, sooooo U will have to decide how or whether to use this info on your particular oven! As this will make my post pretty long, I will add more later in another post. "Wolf Info" "Oven Interior (Blue) Before utilizing the self-clean feature, use a razor blade to gently lift baked on foods from oven cavity and window. For stubborn stains,spray with a mild abrasive cleaner or spray degreaser and scrub with a no-scratch Scotch-Brite� pad (pink or blue). If stain persists, use Easy-Off� Fume Free Oven Cleaner or a S.O.S.� Steel Wool Soap Pad. The S.O.S.� pad should be used lightly at first and with more force if the stain remains. Wash the entire oven cavity with soap and water to remove all cleaning chemicals before entering self clean mode. If the residue is not cleaned from the cavity, etching of the porcelain may occur. Once self clean cycle is complete, allow the oven to cool completely and wipe out ash with a damp cloth. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not allow food with a high sugar or acid content (i.e. milk, tomatoes, fruit juices) to remain on any porcelain enamel surface. Failure to remove these foods may cause a permanent dull spot. IMPORTANT NOTE: Never wipe a warm or hot porcelain surface with a damp cloth or sponge as this may cause chipping or crazing (hairline cracks)." Gary
