You can buy the seeds. They come in mixed colors of bright pink (most common color), softer pink, yellow (least common), red, orange (rare), white and peach/apricot, hence the name Summer Carnival. They bloom the first year, unlike traditional HHs. They reseed very well, but new seed needs to be introduced every two years to keep the colors going, as they revert back to the bright pink, it being the stronger gene color. I have grown them myself. Easy to grow. Color variations are iffy. "Like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get". I have never gotten a yellow or orange, even though it is shown on the seed package. My mother did though, so it is possible. The most common color I have ever gotten is the bright pink. So each color is on it own separate plant. Not one plant branching with all those colors. OKAY? A dose of Fish Emulsion Tea once a month will keep them growing and producing blooms all summer. Very floriferous HH. Large blooms. ~Annie

There are many different ways to do a wooden BS. I have seen something similar in my KD's showroom. It's a nice look and takes the guess work out of an entire BS, but you still have to figure something out behind the range.

CdeL, absolutely LOVE you! I do, I really do! :) Thank you soooooo much! Someone on the QVC cooking forum identified it as a "twirl whisk". I found them on Amazon but hadn't had time yet to do a good Google search for a silicone version (Amazon didn't have one). Everyone that has one and answered on the QVC forum agrees that they're the only way to go :) And here I was thinking I'd not find anyone else that had one (lol) Thanks ladies :) Monica

Wow I've never seen one just like that. That's neat! I took photos of a big moth when we first moved into our last home, over 20 years ago. It's antenna was like feathers. Had similar markings as this one, but was in brown, beige and rust. Just gorgeous. Pre-digital so I don't have a copy on my computer. This one you captured is quite amazing. Did you take any other photos at different angles? If so I'd love to see them.
