What should I have in my laundry room?
Comments (5)Sink if you can, trash can, a line or rod to hang clothes. a folding area (counter or a table) if you have room. shelves or cabinets for products. good bright lighting helps. my area is in a basement and is not as nice as a main floor room but I have a cabinet, a bright light over my work area, lines to hang clothes, and a trash can next to the dryer. I have a small island counter that a builder put a very small dent in the top of at a friends house that going to put legs on and use for a folding table. I got that for free and am going to make use of it instead of it going to the trash....See MoreWhat is my problem?!? I'm so excited about my laundry room!
Comments (32)Allison, I love your laundry room! I wish I had a bigger laundry room but just having one across from my bedroom and not in a tiny little closet and not having to go to the laundry mat is one of the nice features that sold me on the townhouse I bought a little less than 11 years ago. Where are your hampers? I just love your taste of knowing where everything should be in a room to create rooms with both class and beauty. I just bought two white wicker hampers with two compartments at Fran's Wicker & Rattan Furniture Store and were amazed at the just about no smell. They have velcro cotton drawstring bags inside and are very well sealed. I aired them out for a week so they will have no smell at all. I am glad I went with such pretty hampers that were reasonably priced for the quality. Now I have to take the suggestions I got from others on making the rest of the room nice when I have time....See MoreWhat color should I paint my living room?
Comments (2)Hello. If you like a quiet, relaxing and pleasant living room design, then you can use a mild pale pink color. The walls painted in this color make the space warm and comfortable. Monochrome design is another variant of decorating a modern living room. If you choose this option, the colors should be light or neutral, such as pale pink. The light brown tone of the walls is accompanied by a neutral color with textiles, such as gray, cream or beige. This creates an elegant, calm and warm living room. Chocolate brown, which is evenly distributed throughout the room, creates a cozy, elegant and serene space. And plants enhance this effect. Relaxing atmosphere will help create a white-g blue design....See MoreJust moved in, and i need help decorating my living room
Comments (9)you have a very lovely room. you may want to consider a Chesterfield style sofa in a grey. I would place the sofa across from the fireplace and then the two chairs looking out the window... not sure if you have enough room for two sofas. looks like you also need to place a kitchen table and chairs too. insay that because with the open area you have, it may start to look crowded. heres a grey chesterfield sofa with some ivory chairs to give you an idea of how it would look with your chairs....See MoreCavimum
