That's cute! See, winter sowing is sort of mentally damaging, while at the same time being mentally refreshing. How can that be?! Hope the sale went well!

I love those experiences! A few weeks ago I sat next to an good friend at a poetry reading--an event about as quiet as church. Something too long to explain here set us off, and she and I spent the next five or ten long minutes hunched over in our chairs, hands to our faces, shoulders shaking, trying to keep the laughter in. The poet must have thought we were profoundly moved by his reading.

Having something funny - makes a loss so much easier . When my dad died .... I was devistated. My heart was ripped out. At the funeral home - my niece's water broke - her first baby . Everybody started panicing & scrambling around her - we completely forgot about my dad .... LOL .... I know my dad was "up there" laughing .... I'm happy when I can see alittle bit of sunshine in a sad situation.

There's a gal on the cross stitch board i frequent who gave her niece a recipe for something that was made with campbells soup and other things.The niece went to the store to get all the ingredients,and couldn't find them all according to her.So she calls her aunt and said i looked all over that store for a "can of Water" and couldn't find it.Auntie almost fell over laughing,as what she meant was after you empty the can of soup,fill the can with water,but the niece didn't read it that way. Her aunt thought it was soooooooooo funny she designed a cross stitch pattern using the campbells label only added canned Water to it instead of soup.She stitched it for her niece and sent it into Country Cooking magazine and they published it.This was a few years ago.Tooooooooooo Funny.
