what this new tide stain release packets?

Are they he complatible ? why do we need an extra packet to release stains why didnt they just put it in the soap to start with ?

I'm pretty sure it's just a repackaging of the same old stain fighters: Sodium percarbonate (or hydrogen peroxide), Sodium carbonate (washing soda), percarbonate activators, Silicic acid, aluminum salt (zeolite) and enzymes.

i just finished my first bottle and i must say, it works WONDERFULLY! i am currently doing my laundry at a laundry mat and anyone who goes there knows your clothes don't always come out looking to hot, but i am impressed. with three kids and a husband who works a pretty messy job, the stain scrubbers are really working on those stains and every load i have washed has come out stain free and smelling very good. i definetely recommend it to you.....

One issue I have with Tide is rinsing. I use Sears detergent and I think it rinses very cleanly. I used to use Tide HE liquid and in my experience it creates a lot more suds and it doesn't rinse as well. I am very pleased with Sears Ultra Plus' cleaning ability. I don't think that Tide is better for getting stains out. You may want to try using warmer temp washes and/or increasing the cycle length on those extra dirty loads. Sometimes the longer wash time and higher temp will make a bigger difference than switching detergents.

Tide ultra stain release has 4 enzymes and I don't see any magical ingredients in the list, with the name ultra stain release you would think it would have at least 5 enzymes like the Tide pods. But I had to have that scrubber lid, someday people will be hunting for those lids as a collector item, well, probably only people that spend their time here would even think about saving a detergent lid lol.

Yes it is George..fact is suds arnt solely cleaning your clothes. But there are no US detergents 100% suds free so in order to clean the clothes and keep the machine clean your going to have some suds if your adding enough to do the job...this irritates me and I don't even have a FL'er. P&G spends too much time playing with perfume and not enough time working on Surfactants that don't suds....George did you notice I stsrted out sa ying s uds are not dolely responsable for clesning your clothes...lol...someone will read that and think but suds don't clean...and actually they kinda do..suds hold soil and lint in suspension. its easier to see this in a top loader. The suds on top will have lint and soil trapped in them. But ya you FL users always have a battle between enough and not enough and with different soil levels fabric type ect ect ect...its always changing. You know what your doing George, I have faith that your smarter than the average bear. LMAO

If it is just a repackaging of those stain fighters, will it fade laundry? I haven't planned to buy it, was just curious.

I wonder if those same ingredients are in Sears Ultra Plus Stain Fighting formula, which has given me very good results.

I bought a pack of these today just to try them. I add a cup of Cascade or a Finish powerball (dishwasher tab) to my laundry if I have very dirty or organic stains (the enzymes and phosphates help). These packs seem to be mostly the same thing and work in much the same way. It's probably repackaged dishwasher packets! In any case, they work about as well as adding the dishwasher powder for me.

I ordinarily just use Charlie's Soap, which has no enzymes (non-bio). Sometimes I do need a boost for some loads of laundry.

I wasn't unimpressed with the Tide packs but probably not impressed enough to buy them again.
