I was worried about my sourdough starter.

I had been ignoring it for over 2 weeks and was out of town, but as you can see it worked fine overnight using the no yeast sponge method. I use to make sourdough bread all the time 25+ years ago then stopped because we were able to buy really sour sourdough bread. It has been disappearing here in the S.F. Bay area. Or at least where I live. I started making it again about a month or so ago. The last loaf I made came out great with lots of flavor. You just can't beat homemade.
