Suggestions for window treatments, please!

I'd like suggestions on window treatments in my great room. See the image link below. As you can see, the windows are very tall with transoms over them. The ceilings are 10'. The "window" on the right side of the fireplace is actually a door, although we don't use it as a door. It has molding around it, while the other two windows do not. The room tends to be a little dark, so I don't want to block too much of the light coming in. Privacy is not an issue. The window on the left perpendicular wall is just a few inches off of the corner which means that a panel hanging down there is going to have to cover some of the window, and rods over both of those corner windows are going to bump each other. Should I use a top treatment, just panels, or both? Should I hand a rod above or below the transom? I'm just having trouble visualizing what to do, and I'm definitely on a budget.

So, what do you think? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
