OK, this is a strange one. I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 Series (love it!) which is temporarily set up in my backyard while my basement is being remodeled. I've been doing cold-water washes only since it's hooked up to a garden hose. Whites aren't getting sparkling clean but this is temporary so no big deal.
However, yesterday I got to experience something new and horrible which I've never seen in my 38 years. My darling little princess of a daughter has head lice! So I want to wash all her bedding and clothes on the super hot sanitary cycle but I'm hooked up to cold water. Now, I know this model has an on-board heater, but is there any way it's going to work when it's dealing with cold water input only? I REALLY don't want to have to go to a laundromat.
