Leftover pizza at our house--or shrimp and rice salad I made this afternoon.

What are you having for dinner tonight?

Our son came in from the Philippines last night and his only request was to have a real steak dinner. We had already planed that for tonight. So we are having steaks, potatoes baked on the grill and fresh asparagus.

I have a huge pot of spaghetti cooking in the oven right now for dinner tomorrow. I have 11 people coming for dinner, it sure smells good in here.

Nita have a great visit with your son!

GS and I went shoe shopping, and he picked Taco Bell for lunch.. Really good, I enjoyed it.

Is sausage and cabbage/kraut supposed to bring good luck? That's the first I heard of it, here yesterday. We had spareribs. Will pork bring us luck, or does it have to be sausage? Beans and oven potatoes with the ribs.

LOL Glenda is that at a fair grounds??? Have you eaten it I would love to have that~~ We have soup from my last nights experiment of making mixed bean/ham soup~~~it was good:)So it is on for tonight too. I was excited it was good last time I tried it tasted like water soup no taste at all.

I had salmon patties, baked potato and buttered peas. Now I wish I had some butte pecan ice cream for dessert, but hate to get in the car and drive to get some.

Hmmm, I think I smell the baked spaghetti clear over here in Ohio.

Ribeye sandwiches with provolone and I think we'll do sweet potatoe fries. Tomorrow we're doing a whole ham followed up during the week with scalloped potatoes and ham and of course homemade split pea soup with red onion and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Can't wait.

The kids have leftover tacos to eat but they have been picking other things to eat. I don't know what I'm going to eat, maybe some chunky soup I opened yesterday. I can only eat so much so it's lasting a long time.

How are you feeling and doing, Kath?

We had skirt steak with peppers, onions and mushrooms with mock twice baked potatoes (actually cauliflower). Yummy.

Kathleen, I've been wondering how you've been doing, both with your surgery and the exchange students. Sure would like to hear all the news about both!

I love salmon patties and also any kind of salmon served with peas. That sounds so good, schoolhouse.

Nita, I bet you're over the moon having your son home. Good for you getting everything ready in advance for tomorrow's company, so you can enjoy every minute. Enjoy! Will see you soon :-)

Marinated boneless/skinless chicken breasts cooked on my indoor grill. Roasted potatoes cooked in my new Actifryer. And green beans.
