I missed posting last night. I felt a little icky all day and basically laid around. All better today.

Tonight we're having spaghetti squash with meatballs and garlic bread. NY Texas toast, as usual.

What are you having tonight?

Mama Goldbergs for balogna on rye with pepper jack cheese lettuce and tomato and a small bag of cool ranch chips.

Afterwards went straight to the gym and used the machines. Think I worked that sandwich off?

Shirley, that coney dog is calling me! Glad the snow and ice are gone so you can get out and about! Jasdip, did your team win? I haven't been keeping up with the Olympics. My bad! I had 5 large baking potatoes that needed to be used so I made them into twice-baked potatoes. Baked the potatoes, scooped out the pulp, mashed it with butter, milk and sour cream. Added shredded cheddar, sliced green onions chopped parsley and some chopped bacon. Topped with more cheese and bacon. Put them on a cookie sheet and they are in the freezer before being stored in bags and run through the Food Saver. They sure look pretty! Sue, glad you are able to get out again. Lunch sounds great. Little Alyssa will soon be a 3-year old. It's a great age. I've never had Captain D's but it looks a lot like Long John Silvers. Glenda, I really like Thai coconut soup, but the rest of your meal sounds even better.

Raven, simple meal, I like it! Kittie, that is nice that he cooked. Well I made huge buns, they spread for some reason, so made huge patties..cooked them on the Foreman, after some onion slices and bacon..then loaded up with tomato and lettuce..so that was it..no sides...just mondo burgers. Oh product alert..Kraft slices, White Cheddar Habanero Cheese..really quite tasty not hot at all..just spicy..never noticed them before..and I buy a lot of sliced cheeses..so I'm not sure if it's new or Safeway just started carrying it. But I highly recommend..for a little flavor punch.

It has been another full and busy day. I fixed food to go with grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and we took it all to Amber and Mike's. I took corn on the cob, baked beans, fried potatoes, coleslaw, a cake and the meats. Awhile after eating we came home with Cheryl, Kevin and Alyssa. I have been outside all day since our dinner. My supper was just a fried egg, buttered toast and hot tea. It was a late supper for me. May have bad weather move in tonight. I hope your hubby does well Sherry. Will add him to my prayers. kathsgrdn, your naked burrito sounds like a tasty and quick dinner. I will have to try next week after DH gets home. We're trying to stay low carb and love Mexican, so that's perfect! We had ham steak, mashed potatoes & onion rings. I made a homemade cho cake with whipped cream frosting.

LOL, Glenda! It probably did burn off a few of those calories. Good for you! Thanks, I'm fine today.

LOL at you too, Aunt Audrey! Seems we can't take that spicy stuff we so enjoyed when we were (ahem) younger. And those recipes always sound so good!

Shirley, you eat sooooo healthy! You make me ashamed of myself!

Well, I'm not THAT ashamed--I'd die for a piece of that chocolate cake! Mary, glad you're feeling well, too.

Glad you're feeling better today, Patti. We had lasagna and a tossed salad. It was difficult to get it made between football and golf. Such pressure.

I made a pot of chili and we had garlic toast with it and crackers. Patti come on over I just made a chocolate cake.

Sushi, miso soup and a piece of tempura shrimp. Went to Louisville to go bowling with the exchange students this afternoon. Most of them wanted to eat pizza but me, Lauren and the coordinator-we wanted sushi, which was right next door. Plus, our old exchange student, Liza, was in the group too and none of us really wanted to get stuck near her. Sola ate with them because there is another Korean exchange student she wanted to hang out with.

I have to say I'm so glad I decided not to keep her, she was so annoying just during the ride there and the couple hours we were at the bowling alley. So much drama and so much "me, me, me!"

We went to our favorite Chinese today and had a delicious early dinner. The place was totally packed.

Now I'm hunting around for a snack

Spent almost four hours making shrimp fried rice, egg foo yong and sweet and sour pork. Dirtied almost every dish/pan in the house, but sooooo worth it!
