What's for dinner Thursday?

We were on our way to Gainesville before 5:00 this morning. What an ungodly hour. Harry had a 6:00 a.m. appt. for blood work and an 8:00 appt. with his primary doctor. We didn't get home until after 1:00 this afternoon so I had to have a nap this afternoon.

Thanks to Rhizo's post last evening, we're having tuna casserole. It's quick, easy and I had everything to put in it. Plus we like it :-0

Now I want Carol's Swiss steak with mashed potatoes. I think that'll be on next week's menu.

Best friend and I had an early lunch due to Iron Lady show starting at 12:15.

She and I both had, at Zoe's, spinach rollups. I had my usual braised white beans and she enjoyed their greek slaw.

DH is having his leftover bang bang shrimp and my leftover mussels. I'm having chicken soup.

You need to share the citrus dressing recipe ; it sounds good. Fixed a good salad with mixed greens and all kinds of stuff, lol. Robert didn't want ginger dressing again, so I whipped up creamy green goddess type of concoction.....then put our leftover salmon from last night on top. I am going to have to get some asparagus!

Same as yesterday -- Various snacks, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, mini sandwiches, chocolate-dipped fruits, and brownies at a Christmas party. Yesterday was a retirement party for the head of the University Library where I work, today was a shindig put on by a large realty firm at which friends of ours work.

Mimipadv......we always find that the pineapples get sweeter when we leave them on the counter for a couple of days. When they start to smell like a pineapple we cut it open. Your pork chop dinner sounds delicious. It was cold enough that I was wanting a beef roast. Party, today was definitely chili weather in your area and ours (and Gadgets') Pam what a treat, having filet mignon!! Good for you! Rhizo, I have the urge for quinoa tabbuleh and your dinner confirmed my taste buds wanting that. That's a summer dish for me. Gadgets your chicken and potato wedges sounds good to me too!

Little bittiest lobster tails (4 oz) I've ever seen. Threw them on the grill. Husband gave me his, "too much work". His fingers were as big as the tails. LOL Some bowtie pasta, chicken, broccoli and mushrooms in Alfredo sauce.

Glenda, how did you like the movie? I've heard nothing but good things about Meryl Streep's performance. I had to c/p the Greek slaw. Sounds really good.

Georgysmom, I'll have to try the bang-bang shrimp when we use that gift card I forgot we had. It's one of their top sellers, but I always seem to be in the mood for coconut shrimp when we go.

Shirley, I almost put limas in my casserole tonight but opted for peas instead. Should've added a little of both maybe. As usual, your dinner sounds yummy!

Chicken breast medallions with artichokes, garlic and tomatoes and roasted broccoli. I didn't eat much because I have a half dozen proposals to get done tonight, just waiting for Chris to approve them before I send them. I'm going to be hungry later, I can just feel it.

Bbq country style ribs in the oven a rice and beans mix and some sautÃ¯Â¿Â½ed potatoes with garlic.

Tonight we had one of those 'comfort' meals from my childhood A bowl of stewed tomatoes and a hot ham an egg sandwich. Added some roasted cauliflower to help fill dh up. Mom would not have made that cause my dad would not eat cauliflower.
