Top or front load washer in old house

I am shopping for a new washer & dryer. I had my heart set on a front loader until I read about the vibration issues and having to leave the door of the washer open so as not to get a moldy smell going inside the washer. I live in an old house built with pier & beam construction. My 17 year old Kenmore dryer makes things on the wall in other rooms of the house vibrate. The vibration concerns me. The washer & dryer are in the master bath (this is how it works out sometimes in an old house), and I don't have room to leave the washer door open all the time. We also have ceramic tile on the floor, and I'm concerned about the vibration possibly breaking my tiles since the framing under everything is wood. I've looked at a Bosch FL and an LG FL. Should I just stick with a top loader?
