Looking for a liquid soap dispenser

Hey everyone. This type of question may have been posted before but i have not been able to find what i'm looking for.

I want to find some type of liquid soap dispenser that mounts to the wall and can hold at least one large bottle of Tide or more. A spigot on the bottom while being open on the top to fill would be great.

I just hate handling the full bottle evry time i do a load. Having a dispenser on the wall would be so much easier and faster to handle.

If anyone has any ideas, i'm all ears. Thanks, Jerry.

Other than mounting to the wall, the 150 oz bottle sounds like what you want. You have a shelf nearby to set it on?

I do have a shelf above the dryer that holds a couple bottles of detergant and softener. But to me, it seems like some kind of long, wall mounted clear or white plastic bottle would be much easier to handle. Something like this but cheaper.

I suppose i could make something similar from PVC with a spigot on the bottom. Just wall mount it.

I too had this problem with an expensive Kenmore Elite but I decided not to let it bother me. I fill one powder dispenser and leave it open and make sure I have the Jet Dry department always filled. I never observed a lack of top notch cleaning after that, but I did give it to Habitat for Humanity when I got the top of the line Thermador (made by Bosch). The Thermadors and Bosch's are far better than the Miele's at their price points and they are at least as quiet as the best Miele's, which cost $1K more. Greg

Can anyone recommend a dispenser with a LONG spout? The one we have now (Price Pfister) has an utterly useless 2" spout. I have found a 3 7/8" spout, also 3 1/2", but am wondering if there are any that are longer. The new sink is 10" deep. We weren't going to get a new soap dispenser, but after reading this thread, I thought, "I don't want ugly bottles on my new granite!" I could do a rack mounted on the sink cabinet door, but I think the dispenser is neater :-) It just needs a long spout so it can actually squirt dish soap into the pots, instead of dribbling down the side of the sink. Will definitely get a NeverMT--so glad that I heard of it here!

Won't hurt to run the load but may need to add an Extra Rinse or run an additional rinse/spin on it after it's done. Bleach is typically dispensed into the first rinse, so your detergent charge will make the first rinse into another wash. Pull the dispenser drawer and wash out the bleach compartment when done to insure no detergent is left.

yeah..I had it in my previous place:) I put in a soap dish a bit of rocks and corals etc my DH collected at some point..we had quite a few of these and I knew he likes them so I had the more elaborate ones(sea stars and all) displayed on a separate tray...and the small ones I put in a soap dish with the soap. It stood next to the bathtub. a) it was pretty b) i knew it makes DH happy because it was meaningful to him c) it was quite easy to wash when it got too soapy, I couldn't see what the big difference is. You sit in a bathtub anyway when doing that..well I sat in a bathtub:) It was like playing with toys in a tub when a kid..:)

I have a cabinet above my washer. I put the 150 oz dispenser bottle on its side with the dispenser pointing down and the screw lid at the top. I just pull the bottle out enough for the dispenser to clear the cabinet and fill the cup, push it back and close the cupboard door. The only time I have to lift the bottle is when I replace it with a new one. That's pretty easy.
