Boy, I am really late. I just got my laptop back today. The 3rd would have been my DH's 81st. So was a bit sad for me. But......I hope you had a really really good day. Kathy

I didn't even think to take a picture....sorry! I'm glad that bottle made it unscathed...I always worry. The garlic was part of a set (with the press, dontchaknow?)So very legal. hehehe. I hope you find good things in the book, Lori. I haven't thoroughly checked it out yet. It was a little strange to be standing in Costco thumbing through it and seeing my recipe in there.

Thanks, everyone! So far it's been a lovely day...except it's cold and raining and I had to work, hehe. But it was a stress-free workday and I'm ignoring the fact that I'm a year older, so it's all good. I took off an hour early and I am sipping from my stemless (jelly) glass. As soon as the kid gets home we will head out to a place on the river that serves great food...all homemade breads, salad dressings and desserts. And, yup, Ellen...you nailed it...a bottle of Huckleberry Blush it will be :)

Anele...with all you have going on I am so pleased you found this thread and sent your wishes. Thank you ! DH is a special guy. If it weren't for him I know I wouldn't be meditating and that has led to so much more as far as my piece of mind....which he then benefits from. A win/win situation for sure. I am so glad to hear from you and look forward to news of the new little girl when she arrives. c

Thanks, all. It's raining and I had to work, but it was a slow day, I got lots done, and DH had a margarita waiting for me when I got home. Life is good...

The kid and her BF decided to come up and make dinner... apricot ginger pork tenderloin, potatoes roasted with herbs from their garden and strawberry-rhubarb (also from their garden) compote with white chocolate mousse. It will be good....no matter what, hehe.

LOL, Cathy. And, Lee....the fan on my server started making noise. I bet I get The Call around Wednesday.

Happy Birthday!! How nice that your daughter is cooking for you. As for "The Call", I assume you mean that they will be asking you to fix something.

Everything must be very green where you are now with all the rain.

I know your meal was good and I hope you had a perfect birthday and lots and lots of margaritas. And no snow, LOL.

Your dinner sounds great and I'm laughing about you already expecting "The Call". The next time you need a vacation I think you should leave the country - and forget your cell phone.

Happy Birthday, again!
