Inexpensive Dryer for Large Family

saphire

I have been through 2 Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid Dryers in the last 11 years. Each time the thermal fuse goes. I have replaced the vents completely and still have a problem. While it is an easy fix, my husband does not have time plus the element of surprise is annoying. We have some important events coming in the next 6 months and I cannot be without a dryer.

So planning to toss the 7 year old Kitchen Aid middle of the road model. I do not want a Whirlpool or any of its subs, Amana, Maytag or Kitchen Aid or a Kenmore made by Whirlpool.

We would like to sell the house within the next year (appliances stay) so nothing too expensive please, 400-600 range. It goes in the basement on concrete so appearance is not important. There is a playroom next to the laundry so quiet is better but not mandatory. I had a lot of trouble with the Whirlpool with the bottom lint trap (in the base of the door) so want a top lint trap

Suggestions please since I have to buy this tomorrow
