I'm not a big chocolate lover, so Tunnel of Fudge doesn't call out to me, but I found some great recipes at Allrecipes and Recipezaar. I have to bring desserts to work and the bar we shoot pool at a few times a year, plus we have a lot of dinner parties - so these will make it easy! And easy to transport! I usually make crack candy or bourbon balls, this will be so much easier. And I'm going to try a meatloaf in it! Dressing will be so pretty too. Let's see, what else takes to forms.....

I have generally managed to not succumb to these plants as the coloured foliage thing has little traction in my gardens...until getting ther sort of shady, green space where such things might be more at home. Anyway, I do have a couple given to me by my oldest son (who does love the foliage thing) and I have been surprised to find that the purples, even Palace Purple, the veiny greyish ones and the lime-y ones all vanish within a couple of years (or even one season) while a couple of peachy types (Sweet Tea...which may even be a heucherella) and Caramel and another NOID one have all returned for the past few years. I never allow them to flower (nasty beige things) either...so it may have some bearing on the longevity. Years ago, I grew the old 'Spangles' and the like from seed - plain green with red flowers - infinitely preferable to my mind...but it is much harder to find these plain old types as everywhere appears to be rushing into the novelty breeding thing (and I have neither the money, nor the desire to go down that route - having learned some expensive lessons). If I do find myself craving a leafy fix, then saxifrage fortuneii has always done the job for me...but I appreciate that the austere and dullish leaves might not be the ticket for other people.
