Hi, I think most retired people would like to move into an efficient home given that they are going to be paying the heating bills, which just go up and up. Making homes more thermally efficient is a no-brainer -- it saves money on heating bills and reduces carbon emissions. If a mandatory program was put in place (which I would like to see), it could be set up so that the savings in fuel bills more than offset the cost of the extra money that would have to be borrowed for the improvements -- this is a win for everyone, and should improve homes sales, not reduce them -- I think you guys need to take a longer and wider view rather than fight everything that might cost you a little bit of short range adapting. Isn't a housing stock that people can afford to heat going to make for more qualified home owners and more sales? I'm a retired person, and its important to me that we get moving on doing something meaningful on carbon reduction for my grandkids. Gary

nosoccermom, I would love to have my laundry in a basement again, because of peace and quiet, and out of sight. I would love to have it there, so that I could have canvas hampers for different loads of laundry and have them out of sight, and I have several things, that I dont put in the dryer, that I put on a clothes drying rack, and I hate having to set it up in the laundry room. My laundry room is quite large, and is actually a mud room/laundry combination. My back door opens up into it, and there is full bath at the other end of it. Also, in our last house, I had a drain hose pop out and flood the entire laundry room, and part of my hallway, so would love to have the washer and dryer in a basement, next to a floor drain. This house and my last house are the only 2 houses, I have ever lived in, that didnt have a basement laundry, and it is the one thing, I miss the most.

I agree with azzalea ....you must tell the truth on the stand..or be punished. I agree with lynn_d...with all your comments about George and the family. He was the only one in the family with feelings....Cindy seems like a controlling person...but, did not control her daughter at all...I think she spoiled her and let her get away with so much even murder. This is a family that will definitely have a melt down. How could Casey accuse her father of so many evil things and keep a straight face...I think she should be put to death or life without parole. Remember Susan Smith...she killed her children by driving the car into the water and drowning them because she wanted to be single and have fun and no responsibility...These girls are losers..... I do not like that Halloway woman...she wants a reality show.....media seeker. I think he only talked to her ..nothing else... She sure doesn't look like "the other woman" in my opinion. LOL If I was on the jury I would say guilty in the First Degree!

I voted from my main computer and tried to vote again
from the computer in my sewing room and it won't let me.
Tried the laptop also.
