Lyds, Thank you. The tv is recessed in a niche we put in during construction. DH picked out tv width and we went from there. We'll never do one larger, but there is a little room on each end and even more top/bottom. I went from trying to find an antique folding screen to having a four panel folding screen made using wallpaper but never found the perfect pattern. I ordered a screen from Gump's and the colors were horrible when it arrived. TWO years I tried to come up with a solution and FINALLY I wake up in the middle of the night and it came to me! TxGal, Thanks! I had a thread on Decorating but I can't locate for whatever reason. It was custom. They made the shutter into a door to hide the tv equipment and DVDs also. It's on sliders. I have no idea who they ordered them from. The sliders are attached to 2"x2" strips of wood. They built the sliding panels sort of box-like in that the side/top/bottom are to the wall. In other words, when you're coming in the front door you see the side of the panel and it looks like a wide picture molding. slc2053, we don't have a problem with glare since the house faces south and we have a deep veranda. I thought someone on this forum said that American manufacturers design the friges to hold pizza boxes? I agree with Rayna--take a box with you and try. I'm sure the local pizzeria would be happy to give you a nice new clean one considering the amount of business you give them. Of course, they'd have to go in where the door bin isn't. That said, I've been measuring Sub Zeroes a lot. The shelves are 13-14" deep including the lip edge and the door bins are about 4-5" deep (I can't remember the exact measurement). And, of course, they are adjustable height and come off. Plus there has to be an air gap. So it might just fit. If you're interested in the fully integrated models with drawers it might fit better in one of the drawers. The Bosch/Thermador ones have 10" shelves but much deeper door compartments. I don't think they're deep enough however, though they just might be. I realize that the teach 'em to package the pizza answers are frustrating because that wasn't the question you were asking, but the fridge will still be around when the teenagers (hopefully) have gone to college and beyond, so I think we're trying to give you short term solutions so that you can concentrate on other features for long term. In that spirit, only wanting to be helpful, and having done my best to actually answer your question to the best of my recollection, there is a mid ground. On the assumption that the multiple pizzas have different toppings and need to be consolidated anyway, you could get a big food storage box and have the guys pick up the pizza, including the liner if there is one, and dump it in layers in the box. If they're not that picky about the storage to begin with, and that ravenous, I don't think they'll be bothered with a few toppings adhering to the bottoms of the pieces on top. This wouldn't be any harder than consolidating the left over pieces into one or two pizza boxes, and if the storage box lives in the fridge, and you and your DW don't mind standard teenage ideas of couth, it wouldn't even have to be washed every time. Or figure that you'll do other things for the planet and use disposable catering boxes.

Hi Monica: Hubby and I are in our middle 40s and have never owned a video game either, so this was a "major" decision, LOL. When we played with our neighbor's Wii, we had so much fun (so it'd be a good party game even if you might not play it alone much). Hubby sure worked up a sweat trying out all the sports games like tennis, baseball, boxing, bowling, racing, etc. He liked the shooting (arcade-type, skeet shoooting stuff) games and the racing (Mario Kart) best. Same neighbor mentioned some of her nurses and patients had been talking about it before they bought theirs. These people are "well into" adulthood and not previous gamers either. Truly it is a game for ages 3 to 93. I read in our paper a few months back that some of the "seniors" places are getting Wiis to get the residents more active and to work on hand/eye coordination, etc. I think it's neat--finally something for the older set....tired of everything geared towards teens and their shoot-em-up "grand theft auto" games! Do you use it frequently? We use ours daily. We wake up to the news and I come home for lunch M-F and tune into shows during that time. We also watch TV at night, especially before bed. Do you spend the big bucks on cable for the TV and not watch it very often? Yes, and I feel ripped off with Directv. Also do you fight over it with your SO? No. We have multiple TVs so if we disagree on a show then I just watch in a different room. Our house isn't that big and it's just me and the hubby. We have a 54" in our living room and I don't consider that very big anymore. When we replace it someday we'll go to 65-70". Our living room is open to the kitchen and I have to squint to see the guide on my 54" so bigger is needed lol. In our bedroom I think we have a 46" ?? It's not very far from our bed so it's plenty big. And in the basement we have around a 50" but we never go down there. Our TVs are older but get the job done. It's so hard for me to spend money on an item when I have something that already works. So I just wait until things break. I'm down to my last working HDMI port on the living room TV so once that one goes then I'll cheerfully buy a new 65-70"...
