I was up at 5:00 as usual. Waiting for plumbers to come at 7:30 to fix the problems they have created this week. It is their 4th trip here. Can you tell I am not a happy camper. LOL

Still dealing with the oldest puppy being in heat. This is day 20 and I am tired of making doggie diapers. Tomorrow we have to go car shopping. Not looking forward to that at all. Sunday is supposed to be raining again, so am hoping for a quiet peaceful day. I know it won't happen, but I can always hope.

Linda #1, sounds like a pretty busy weekend for you. I hope the table turns out, projects like that are sure fun. I've seen some robins but no bluebirds here yet. This has sure been a winter from %@$#.

Linda #2, you get those plumbers straightened out and make sure they do it right.... definitely not fun.

May do a little shopping and go out for dinner tomorrow but that is the only plan so far here. I'm dreaming about being able to work outside in my flower bed but I'm afraid that's a long way off still.

Morning and TGIF!!

Today I'm working for the appliance company scheduling the appts and tonight we are meeting friends at a pizza restaurant for dinner. THen we'll all come back here for drinks.

Tomorrow we are going to a big birthday party for two little boys, it's going to be like a carnival! Bounce Houses, slide, dunk tank, bungee pull, swimming, cotton candy machine..... oh the fun! *full bar for adults* Yipppeee!!!!

Sunday my sister and her husband are coming over for lunch. I'm making a Shrimp Caesar Salad, Chicken Soup, Lima Bean Soup, Cuban Bread w/Roasted Garlic and some type of dessert, not sure about that one yet. I plan on using my new Lee Wolf cutting board to serve the bread on. My sister is gonna LOVE that board!

So that's our weekend. OH I started the weekend off last night actually. Went out to dinner with 10 other friends to a Mexican Restaurant. What a fun time we had.

Wonderful day so far. Can the entire US auto industry just be picked up and sent to China? I have to shut up about that or I'll go on a long senseless rant. Coffee is making... gotta remind myself not to post before the first cup.

Need to take a week or two off work, lock the doors, pull the shades, and cut the phone cord. Yup... stessed out.

Nancy, I got snow last night, no gardening for a while. Even the garlic isn't up, but I saw the first red knobs of my rhubarb last weekend.

Only the second time we have had snow this winter. The first being back around the 1st of December. Thankfully it will be short lived. It is suppose to be back up around 50°F for the weekend.

Linda/bessie- we'll be car shopping too. My car is 9 and needs a bunch of incidental repairs. Probably not worth it although it has only 91,000 miles and the engine is great.
Last night I drove a couple of Volvo's. Good leasing deal right now on the XC90, but I don't think it's the car for me.
DD just arrived back from 6 days in Chicago. The weather was awful and her flight massively delayed due to the snow storm. I'm just greatful that she and the kids are back in sunny So.Cal!
Tomorrow night I'm off to a fundraiser with my boss, where the school is being honored and other than that I'm working and car shopping! No big social plans in the works.

We are taking the train to the city tomorrow to see the circus. We could have seen it on LI but the train is half the fun for the boy.

We have been sick here again this week. This was bad. I really felt like I was just hanging on by a thread taking care of the kids. I feel much better today but Andrew has that croupy cough again. Grace is 6 mos and just got weighed yesterday at the doc - she is 17 pounds. Oink! LOL:) She cracks me up.

Well a weekend with out the girls and I need to clean the house really bad. Things got busy right before Easter and I haven't felt up to getting things that needed to be done. I am working on laundry today and the house tomorrow or this evening. DH and I want to go to a bigger town to go shopping, and out to eat. I would love to but I am alway tired the day after and won't get much done and waste away tomorrow. So I am taking it easy and try to clean out this mess of the house.

Hey everyone! Well I'm going to have a relaxing weekend, nothing that has to get done. I'm in a good mood right now, my son informed me while we were having lunch together (spring break started today) that he has cut his short list for college down to two schools. So now he just needs to decide between U of I (Illinois) and Ohio State. He just cut Notre Dame, he decided that 1. it is too small, 2. it's in a bad location (talk about lake effect snow!) and 3. it is a bit too elitist for him (he refuses to even buy name brand cloths because he feels that is nothing more than a way for kids to show they have more money (or more indulgent parents) than others so I really could not figure out why he was applying to Notre Dame). I have to admit that I'm just thrilled to be only one step from an actual decision!
