Who Knew 'Leftovers' Could Be So Good??

My husband and I made sushi a couple of weeks ago at home, and it was delicious. And also a lot of work. After two nights of it, we realized we didn't want to deal with the mess anymore, but we still had some really nice, sushi-grade tuna to use up in the freezer, and I didn't want to let it go to waste.

So tonight I made this. It worked out perfect because I already had everything in the house.

And even though I mixed everything together and then forgot to marinade the tuna before I cooked it (sooo typical - I blame the wine), it still turned out fantastic - especially with the dipping sauce and wasabi paste.

I've never made seared tuna before. Who knew something that looks so elegant could be so insanely easy??
