Thanks for all the wonderful Happy Birthday messages. You have all made my day. I can see some of you know how much I love flowers... Kathleen, I know you didn't realize it but that song sung by Pink is one of my favorites. It really gets me in the mood... not saying for what. Sol, Nancy of the North was so excited to see that menu. She was having "Chunk of Skunk" for dinner tonight! Can definately relate to "smear of deer", since one of our cars is waiting on parts right now. Pam....think Northern Michigan instead of New Mexico......hehe. Betcha didn't think I'd catch that. Well, I've had a great Birthday! Didn't end up going out tonight, Kim really did want to make dinner for me. I picked a simple menu of some of my favorites. I'll post dinner on the WFD thread. We have been planning on a little shopping as Annie suggested and along with that a get out of town... but the weather might not cooperate. Guess we have to wait and see. Nancy

My real birthday is March 6th. I have tried numerous times to change the date to no avail. It comes up as March 6th on my member page, just not on the birthday listing. Don't know what else to do. Hi everyone! Thank you for the Birthday Greetings. I think this is the coldest birthday I have ever had.....and I've had a few! It's now -2F out and it's supposed to go down to about -15F tonight. I sure wish spring would hurry. Because of the cold, we will be celebrating my birthday when it warms up a little. This year I decided that a night out at the casino sounded like fun. However, the casino sets up high and catches the wind off Lake Michigan, add that to a fairly long walk from the parking lot. So we will go when it's warmer! FOAS, I'll have you know that I do stop by here, quite often. I'm not on Pinterest all the time...... just most of it! Thanks again! Nancy

Ann, that's funny about the name. I can't believe I spelled Mittens wrong. I was very tired yesterday. So I think the kids have decided that she is to be Mitzi. She is such a sweet kitty. I'm so glad to have her. And haha at Lou :) Sally, you say the same thing my mom did!

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes!

I'm taking it easy today. I slept late, partly because I was up a couple of times to see if we were getting the foot of snow they said we might get overnight. We dodged the bullet and only got about 3"....yippee!! I hope spring hurries up.

Kim is working today. She asked if I wanted to go out for a nice dinner but I said no. So she is bringing Thai food home from a new place that open near where she works. Great far as I'm concerned. I said no for two reasons. One, I really enjoy lounging around in my flannel pants and sweatshirt.... hey, before you say anything, remember, it's my day! Secondly, because we will be eating out while on vacation, we leave for Myrtle Beach in a week.

No other plans for this weekend other than getting ready for the vacation. I think Kim may have some other plans though...

Hey Nancy - snow? Oh how I have been praying that we wouldn't see any more significant accumulation...I guess that's crazy.

Thai food in flannel pants sounds awesome. Have a great time on vacation! Enjoy the sun.

I hope Kim has some great surprises in store.

Happy Birthday, Nancy! I'm glad I didn't miss it, Elery and I are here on South Padre Island, I'm just soaking up some sun for you. Yeah, that's it.

Of course Kim has plans, LOL, I'm sure of it. Have a wonderful time on vacation. Elery says we need to come andsee you two soon, he enjoyed meeting you both and says that with he and Kim having been in so many of the same places, it's almost like she's an old college buddy. Ah well, when you come back the snow will be melted and then we can think of going north instead of south.
