So I inherited 'Mom's' wedding ring. It isn't her original, DH designed it to include her MIL's diamond along with hers. The two diamonds on her ring comes in at just under two carats. It is beautiful. The setting doesnt have the typical band shape that goes straight across like most wedding rings.

My DD thinks I should trade out my wedding set for 'Moms' but I don't want to. My own set, also designed by DH, has a near flawless one carat diamond (an upgrade after I lost my original cheap diamond). It has leaves that surround the diamond but the shape is more like a traditional wedding band.

Can I wear 'Mama's ring on my right hand? Is that too many diamonds (3 carats) to wear at the same time? I don't generally change my rings out. I've worn the same ring on my right hand for almost 30 years...

(Oh the problems of a first class country... Sigh.)
