Challah bakers- I need a critique

I woke up inspired. I went to baking school for over a year but havn't baked a loaf of bread in almost 20 years- the wasted years.

I'm trying to recreate my veggie chopped liver on challah memory and baked some challah today. I expected a little better rise out of it but I am so out of practice I'm not sure if the problem is in the mixer, the initial rise, the proofing, or what.

I've posted a few pics and would appreciate some tough love from you experienced bakers. I know it's hard to tell by pictures but maybe something will jump out at you.
