well one thing you could do is get a connector adapter switch that allows you to add that extra monitor to your existing pc (dual monitor set up), then you could set up that monitor to simply play a slide show that you have set up on your pc like you can do in the screensaver settings or use a special program to do it. Seems like an option that would possibly work and not be too expensive. You can get a USB 2.0 to VGA adapter that would allow you to simply use one of your USB ports to plug it into, or get a little usb hub to sit on your desktop would be even easier, but this should do what you want. Thanks Pooh Bear. My question now is: Will having 1.1 ports prevent me from using USB extension cable or hub? Upon reading the directions one more time I discovered it does say to attach the cable to the frame first. I really didn't think this would make much difference, but it is worth a try. I'd like to invest in a USB extenstion cable or hub anyway, as it seems like that would be useful. ( I would love a flash drive- ports on the back make that next to impossible for me as things are now) Kudzu9, Thank you too! Wow - I would put my name on the list also if you are shipping it to the attic. I think they are the greatest thing ever! I also have a pig cookie jar that is my favorite think on my kitchen counter! It is a McCoy jar that my parents got as a wedding gift. Most of the frames hold SD cards that you can just zip the pictures onto from your computer or pop in straight from you camera. Many support video and will play MP3's along with the pictures.

I can't wait to hear, I bought my Mom a $50.00 one on Black Friday, a gal who was buying ALL the rest, said she had one and the pics looked good on it. I asked her about resolution, and she didn't know what I meant. I guess I'll just have to load Mom's up and see how it looks. JoanMN
