Just to let you know how it all turned out. I bought a Curtis DynaFog Cyclone model fogger and I've been really happy with it so far. I just set it inside the greenhouse, load it up, roll down the sides and turn off the vents (obviously at night!) and let 'er go! If you fog it up really foggy, the bugs don't seem to be able to escape it. It's easily portable to carry between the greenhouses, and I can fog pesticides, fungicides, etc. Heck, I even fogged neem oil with it a couple of times and it didn't clog up. I also can set it inside the truck/trailer once I'm loaded up for the farmer's market (the night before) and fog inside the trailer so everything arrives in great shape. Just fog it until it's really foggy, then turn it off. Open the trailer doors a few hours later and let it air out. It doesn't have a timer, but I've gotten around that a couple of ways, once plugging it in outside the greenhouse and just pulling the plug when it was foggy enough, and putting it on a cheap kitchen timer. For my larger greenhouse, sometimes I have to pour another cycle of liquid through it, but if you set it right inside the door and have it already mixed up, it's no problem really. So I'd highly recommend it. Just thought I'd follow up in case anyone else was thinking like I was that I didn't want to be in all that spray all the time, even with a respirator....this is a link to show which one I purchased. Reading through this info, I checked in Add/Remove to see what Java version I have. I had 5,6, and 9. I removed 5 and 6. Guess I'll go get 11. I think I remember getting the popup but wasn't sure about it so didn't take it. Forgot about it til I read this. Also I have a long list of Windows Updates and HotFixes in there. Can I just delete those? I check in here quite often and find help I didn't even know I needed. :) grandms, I have XP Media Center also. Quite a change from WIN98 for me. But I think I have it "trained" now. Sue

do you happen to have a screen saver set up on it that would possibly be causing it to seem active? It has been so many years since I dealt with dial up but I seem to remember that some ISPs did not work with the disconnect if idle option??? not sure though. Too long ago for my old brain to remember LOL

8.1 final,, It's not supposed to auto install. Its about 3gb,, a rather large download. However - it will put a blue bar across your monitor eventually that looks like you have no choice but to ok it to start the download. One girl told me she had no choice - I'm sure she did but she was apparently panicked and didn't take time to read the tiny print :) When I download it - it finished the download then popped a window asking Proceed ? I clicked something implying yet of course & it installed,, but must have had a No choice too.
