You're talking about 'Easy Stride'? It's Toro 'Personal Pace'. Lawn-Boy invented the 'automatic drive' before Toro bought them out. A few years later, Toro unveiled 'Personal Pace' and revolutionized the industry. The power of marketing. :)

Mine always asks before installing yet is set fully automatic updates. Message pop says something like updates are available, proceed ? y/n ... if I choose no at next shutdown it prompts me with install updates and shut down ? ... or I can choose shut down regular,; reboot, standby, hybernate. It will bug me until I let them install. You really do need that first update, its an important one, but a few users do have problems with it. It was first made available on April 3rd, maybe wait another day or two before installing, they'll hopefully fix its bug. The other you gotta have sooner or later anyhow, might as well take it.

In fact, the Windiz site's "Why Use W.U. ?" link at the right of its homepage (http://www.windizupdate.com/) notes sarcastically in the list of advantages of using the product: "No more unwanted spyware -- Microsoft Internet Explorer can finally be removed from your computer (if that were possible)." So, the WindizUpdate extension apparently is 'free' of all dependence on IE. And as I noted previously, for me, WindizUpdate is very fast. When I would go to the MS site and manually scan the computer for updates, it would take 10-15 minutes for IE to complete that task alone !! Windiz takes less than a minute !! :-) I don't know if that would be the case if I were still really using IE for the (manual) update I do when I use FF and Windiz. Scott My apologies, Rita, if I have misunderstood and you weren't commenting on the Windiz extension at all, but were *intending* to address the 'embedded IE' type of extensions for FF !

I would only use the in-wall track when you must have an irregular, or thin coping. Otherwise the standard under track is far less expensive (materials and installation) and far easier to service and maintain. There are a few inwall track systems out there, that I hope I never have to service them. The cover box system that Missy has is one of the most expensive and elaborate methods. It has huge stainless steel brackets that hold up the large (24" typ) stones with very little deflection. Typically the back edge of the stones will but up against the deck material, and her installation is unique where the grass goes up to it. There are many different ways to finish this off, such as a strip of matching precast stones behind its covering the cover box with sod, or creating a decorative tile band. The covers we use are the Aquamatic Hydramatic. When retraced the leading edge is also out of sight, which looks very nice.
