WANTED: I finally got Pic's of my Swap Package from Earthydeligh

Whewwwweh!!! Oh I feel so much better now!!! I couldn't sleep at night, knowing I just had to post some pics of my Wonderful Swap Package, I recieved from Maryanne (Earthydelights) I opened up a new post, so everyone would have a look, at the beautiful things she gave me. Doesn't she have incredible taste? I think so!!! Thank you once again Maryanne!!! I just love everything. Diana55 P.S.........Michelle, Stop sending me Skeletons now.....that is probably why I couldn't sleep....you were scaring me!!!LOL

seasidecottage .. i love your name! Its my dream house... lol Anyway, i recently added an arbor to my yard. I bought it for 150 at lowes, and am really pleased with it. But i wish i had waited to build my own,,,so i wonder, are you handy? If you need it to be cheap you could find a woodworking plan to build your own. I found the perfect swing arbor plan for myself on amazon . Im not sure what you want planted on it, or how sturdy you need it, but ive seen an arbor made out of 3 old wooden rung ladders. So charming! Perfect for annuals. When i was searching for an arbor i looked online but decided local would be best..because shipping can get crazy and its nice to see in person the quality. Good luck!! i realize this post may be of no help..lol

Yikes! I'm so sorry Janet! Having had a car totalled and a front porch damaged by hit-skip drivers, I'm always sympathetic by people who try to do the right thing and get nailed by the letter of the law. Admittedly, I've skated thru more than my share of mishaps. Just out of college, I got pulled over for going 45 in a 25mph zone. I explained to the cop that I'd come back from the Middle East and was having trouble with speed limits. He thought that was funny and let me off with a warning. Here in Columbus I was making a left turn on red (from a one-way street to a one-way street, perfectly legal.) But I wasn't watching and nearly hit a pedestrian. I was pretty shaken up, so when he started to yell at me I yelled back. He backed down and told me to be more careful in the future -- it wasn't until I was three blocks away that I realized the guy was a uniformed cop -- and we'd been right in front of police headquarters. A few years ago in July I was driving behind an SUV on a narrow downtown street with construction. The driver was on a cell phone and weaving back, and I felt very morally vindicated when a motorcyle cop pulled up behind us and turned the light on. Until I realized he was signalling me to pull over. With a sinking feeling, I realized my tags had expired on my birthday in January. (I apparently have issues with timeliness.) As I handed him my license I realized that my recently replaced license was also expired. I got my ticket and had to go to traffic court. (Renewed my tags and license before my day in court.) You sit for a few hours, then get 30 seconds with the attorney; sit back down and then get 30 seconds with the judge. The attorney said, because both had been expired six months, there would be a $250 fine and I would have to take the driver's test again. In the interlude before I went before the judge, I counted up on my fingers, and realized I had renewed 1 day short of six months. I explained that, took my $30 fine and was feeling pretty smug as I went out to my car. Where I found a $30 ticket on the windshield for an expired meter. If bad catches up with you, I think good should, too. Hope your lucky break catches up with you soon, Janet!

I also love that bowl - it's great. And the edible goodies are mouthwatering. That's supposed to be The Word on Italian Cooking. I have the book, but have been too daunted to know where to start. Marcia - please do post any recipes you try on the discussions thread. And for the rest of you who have this book, please let me know which recipes you recommend. With over 1200 (and no editorial comments), I don't know where to start. Enjoy it all. Lynn.

Really nice glasses and pitcher. And I love the hand painted pottery. They would look beautiful on the table just as decoration. Great swap.

OM Goodness! The pictures are awesome! I LOVE it all! I can come up with lots of ideas for those beautiful cruets! and glassware of any kind is absolutely one of my favorite things. The pitcher is so classic!

oh diana, i'm so glad you got a camera. i certainly learned for next time to always take pictures.

barnomom...more than three? the cruets are one piece, the pitcher and glasses a REAL set and the napkins are the third item. the mag certainly does not count as a swap item. funny that you mention "more than three" is to this swap box and not a comment to some of the others. i must be missing something.

diana, enjoy it all. i absolutely loved each item i sent to you and certainly hope you will for quite some time to come.

I'm glad I can see the pictures here at work, I just love that cruet set, AND the martini glasses.

I also like cloth napkins, I seldom use paper ones, so I think that's a perfect swap box!

What a perfect package! I love it all. That martini set makes me want to make a batch (and I don't normally drink martinis!). I really love the pottery set, and who couldn't use more cloth napkins. Really nice package MaryAnne!
