Juliet, yes, his gardens are very near Birmingham, it's a half hour train ride from there. Even in late August it should be pretty spectacular. Wollerton Old Hall is covered with buds. I've not seen a single bloom yet "in real life", so I've got my fingers crossed. I think I'm expecting something similar to Scepter'd Isle with a lighter colour. I'll post photos when it blooms. When I lived in California I never dreamed I'd get to visit, and now I can walk out of my door, get on a train, and be there in just over two hours. I wonder what I should do this weekend?? LOL. Jumbojimmy, the roses in most of the pictures of the greenhouses are "potential" new Austins, either for garden or cut flowers, so I'm pretty sure we wouldn't know any of them already. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I get out of his creations. I think we are so lucky to have him. He lives in a house on the grounds, and the tour guide told us that he still comes out every morning and walks through the gardens, taking notes, commenting, and finding improvements. He still works in the breeding and selecting and is very much the man we can thank for these roses. So.. thank you very much Mr. Austin! Kristin, I did spend hours there. We arrived at 11 and left when they closed at 5, and I still could have spent many more hours wandering around. It was really fantastic.

I have no problem whatsoever after I first start my computer. My computer brings up our names, I click my name and it goes to the desk top. First I click up mail, and that takes a minute. Then I click on Internet Explorer, and that can take some time. (I think my computer automatically goes through a brief virus scan when I first click on I.E. Once my home page (Roses Forum) comes up, there are no more delays. I move from one forum to the next almost magically. My husband has zillions of I Tunes on our computer, and I think that is the cause of the initial delay. Why don't you call your provider, or ask on our Computer help Forum? I take that back. I just clicked on Preview Message, and stopped it at 30 seconds. I'll try again. Good luck Sammy

First if you're connected to a modem and router, un-plug them both for a min or so. Replug the modem in. Wait for all lights to come up and then re-plug router in. See if the helps. I'd also run the TFC Below as outlined: Clean out your temporary internet files and temp files. Download TFC by OldTimer From here click Here to your desktop. Double-click TFC.exe to run it. Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator TFC will close all programswhen run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin * Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process. * Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. * Please let TFC run uninterrupted until it is finished. Once TFC is finished it should restart your computer. If it does not, please manually restart the computer yourself to ensure a complete cleaning.

Thank you all. I will give all a try after the holiday. Will be out of town for a few days. Will take the netbook with me and I'll see how it runs with my daughter's wireless. The only thing which I changed a month or so ago was to try to network the netbook to my desktop. I wanted to be able to print wireless. My printer is hooked to the desktop and the netbook travels around the house. I wanted to print up recipes. I looked for directions on the web and I know I had to allow file sharing and whatever it said. Never worked and I can't get the netbook to send to my printer. Possible those changes are messing things up. I'll have to look for those directions to undo them. Both computers are having this problem, my other two computers do not. Suspicious. But this just started about a week ago so I'm doubtful. I'll give IE a try when I get home. Thanks again, Jane
