I wonder if anyone has noticed that not a single match has been made on this thread between a person with extra dirt and a person who needs it who are both close to each other. Not surprising. I suggest using your local Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. or the matching sites linked in this thread.

I worked in the auto-body and paint trade since 1953. Learned a lot about the equipment what to use, how big, what CFM. I learned that most any compressor will put out 100 lbs, more or less. I learned that for a job of painting anything with a spray gun requires a continuous level of air pressure, while using the spray gun. The air compressor has to put out enough CFM to keep the air line to the spray gun at the pressure that gun needs to atomize the liquid while spraying That said: Yes-you can buy an inexpensive, say 75-125 dollar compressor that advertises it will put out 125 lbs air pressure, but, if the CFM is low, it'll only be good for airing tires, or blowing dust off something. You'll do a lot of waiting for it to catch up on the air pressure, if you are painting anything large. I haven't read what "The air tool guy" Has to say. I'd be willing to bet that his comments may be like mine. I had to leave the trade after they started using isocyanates in the paints. I'd go into wheezing and coughing fits, to where I'd have to stop in the middle of a paint job, and go outside for fresh air. Ya see, the paint companies didn't tell us at first, of the dangers of the new paints that had the isocyanates in them, and that stuff would go right thru the old mask filters. Independents, like the ones I worked for, didn't want to buy the expensive filters, etc. that was required, and it was five years later that we got info on the iso's , and how bad they were for our lungs! TMHO: Rusty Jones( I got so bad-if I stopped at the local gas station, and the paint shop across the street was spraying, I'd have to get my gas someplace else!

A landscaper told me about 81 Inert in Atlanta. Last week, I got fill dirt wholesale delivered to Atlanta from 81 Inert (Gwinnett). I estimated that I saved around $75 per load. When I went to the grocery store for oranges for the orange flan, there was a bag of cute little key limes that I couldn't resist. So I bought those and decided to try lime curd with coconut oil in place of butter. I used a refined coconut oil (one with little coconut flavor) because I didn't want coconut competing with the almond flavor of the macaroons. I suppose if one used the raw coconut oil, one could call it pina colada curd. That worked out fine - very strong lime flavor - I didn't notice the lack of butter. However, a little of the coconut oil separated out when I chilled the lime curd - I'm not sure why that happened or how I could have prevented it. I removed it from the top of the curd and used the curd. At that point I was in a hurry so I didn't save it - maybe the lime infused oil could have been used for a stir fry. I had flavored half with cocoa. All the plain flavored ones were made into sandwiches with lime curd filling but I ran out before filling all the chocolate ones so the rest were served plain. I'd forgotten to look for Polander jam at the store and the Smuckers low sugar that we usually use isn't that thick. I wanted to try combining it with chocolate for a filling but I ran out of time. The macarons were a big hit - crusty on the outside, chewy insided. Some people couldn't resist nibbling on one before dinner. After dinner they all disappeared. The orange flan was also a refreshing finish to the meal.
