Hello, I am glad to see that this is a form that likes to help people, I am very new to working with wood. I had an idea and wanted it to be real so I found some logs that are 7in wide and 12-13in, I also have one that is 4in wide and 12-13in tall. My goal is to hollow these out but leave maybe an inch on the bottom left to make a wood cup. All I have for tools is a cordless drill Dewalt 14v, some reg drill bits and a spade 1in bit and a wood saw. I have tried upswing the spade bit but after pushing on the wood for about a min and seeing nothing but a little hole from the tip I knew that this can't be the right tool. Any advice? Side note I don't have much money but I am willing to spend a little to get the correct tool.

Is he placing tape over the cut line before cutting? Is he cutting the tiles right side up or mesh side up? It could also be that the glue robot (?) didn’t apply enough glue during the manufacturing process or a host of other things. Have you checked the manufacturer‘s installation Instructions? Who is the mfr, btw, and what’s the name of that particular tile?

Add them in comments. Many folks are having a difficult time getting photos to post in the initial post, and AFAIK Houzz hasn’t really worked to hard to try to fix it. Send them a complaint: https://help.houzz.com/s/app-support?language=en_US How I got there was Houzz support at the bottom of every page > submit a request in the upper right corner of the support page. If enough folks complain, they might actually fix it, but I am not holding my breath since it has been happening for more than a month. Their default advice is try a different browser and contact your ISP since it couldn’t possibly be a Houzz problem.

We have been using the Polaris 280 for years now. It's based on the original model 180 from the 70's. It's the only cleaner we install on all new builds or reno projects. The 3900 is essentially the same except for a chain drive system. The pool filter must be clean and allowed to deliver the proper flow to the booster pump for proper operation. I would check is the ball float attached at the top-looks like a tiny football. Often the ball cracks and water gets in which affects the cleaner's operation. Disconnect the cleaner and put in on the deck. Try manually turning the left front wheel to see if the opposite wheel is engaged. If not, an adjustment to engage the wheel may be necessary. Make sure the wall fitting screen is clear of any debris. Clogged screens impede water flow and affect operation. Make sure the bottom of the cleaner is not jammed up with kids toys, swim goggles, etc... There's a jet at the back bottom to allow the cleaner to climb the walls or keep it on the pool floor. Generally is set around the 11 o'clock position. Attached is the link to Polaris's site on the 3900. You can view the owner's manual. It's more descriptive and shows illustrations.
