Rita; I about went into the fence head first, by trying to get in front of Oktoberfest to get a photo.it was pretty close to the fence,and trying to get in front to get a picture without stepping on one in the process,I would just come unglued if I stepped on one and broke it. This Oktoberfest is the one we decided it wasn't the right one last spring, then after it bbloomed awhile,it looked as nice as the new one you sent to replace it with. It sounds as if the resolution of your monitor is out of whack. In Control Panel open Display and set the monitor resolution to a higher setting. If it's a LCD monitor, it should be set to the recommended resolution for that monitor. That will make things a more normal size.

I'm hoping I did this right. First I think I should mention: After I clicked install I had a message pop up that said "HJT appears to have been started from a temp folder. Since temp. folders tend to be emptied regularly it's wise to copy HJT.exe to a folder of its own, for instance C:Program Files\HiJackThis This way, any back ups tht will be made of fixed items won't be lost. Please quite HJT & copy it to a separate folder 1st before fixing any items." I didn't know how to do this..so I just clicked ok. I then clicked System Scan & save logfile button.... then received a message that said.. "For some reason your system denied write access to the hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, HJT may NOT be able to fix this. If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. to do this, click start, run & type: notepad C:\Windows\Systems32\drivers\etc\hosts & press enter. find the line(s) hjt reports & delete them. Save the files as 'hosts' (w/ quotes), & reboot. For Vista (which is what I have) Simply, exit HJT, right click on the HJT icon, choose 'run as administrator'. Wasn't sure what that was all about either so I clicked ok and then it scanned. The scan literally only took seconds. Is this normal? I didn't do anything else. I don't think you have to have anything, but I understand what you are feeling. Personally, I would try to pull in the color of the upholstery in the adjacent room (can't be sure if it is terra cotta, or a red that is reading paler in the pix). I would do a simple valance with box pleats in a contrasting fabric, no gathers, something like this. I would make it so it comes down a bit below where the light fixture hangs, so it frames the fixture, but nothing too long. Maybe a striped fabric instead of the floral, with a small check in the pleats. Buttons in the ORB finish. box pleated straight valance I would then try to pull that color in by using it in the pots for the plants, the utensil holder on the cooktop, etc. Maybe some pieces with that color in the glass front cabinets, too. As for the space above the doorway, I would leave it plain. You have enough going on visually in the room beyond that you really don't need anything there. Also, because you have something hanging over the windows in the next room, I think that would feel kind of redundant. Lovely new kitchen!
