oh no! lost my 'pointer'

I really did it this time! Earlier today I thought I was deleting a 'funny' pointer site. I guess I cleaned out the pointer altogether- my 'pad' doesn't work at all! Win 7, HP 110(?), I forget what else you need. It has taken me 2 hours to figure out a way to get here- I can only use the right and left tabs on the sides of the 'pad'. I tried to 'restore' to an earlier date- like yesterday, but with this program I can't find a way to do it- I CANNOT go to: start/computer/features/install or uninstall. I don't see where there is a place where I can look at what I 'uninstalled' if I did that today either. My pointer is useless. Now what do I do???!!!

If you press The Windows Key, that should open up the Start menu and hopefully you can go from there.

Sue...who just found that out just now.

Get a mouse if all else fails.

thanks but they were up here in Northern Ohio when the dog got away from them, and now hes lost up here. They were visiting relatives here. They live by the ocean in North Carolina I cant remember the name of the town there. They had to leave to go back home the next day and they were devastated to leave and not know when or if they will ever find him. Tami lives about 20 minutes from me, and about 10 minutes from where he was lost. I sure hope someone finds him soon. There are posters and feelers out all over and so far no responses but you can definitely send prayers up for Jackson to be found and I do appreciate your offer for help!!

I have grown garden sage and it always gets messy looking in late summer. I'm in zone 6a and they behave like biennials here.After my plant's have bloomed they slowly deteriorated and died in winter. I don't grow it anymore because it gets so messy looking in the second year and I always have to get fresh new plants after the old ones bloom.The best you could do is trim it to maintain some kind of shape.You could maybe try rooting some of the trimmed cuttings to make new plants. I'm not sure if garden sage is classified a biennial,but in all my experiences growing it, the plants always get ratty,and go downhill after flowering.Sorry I couldn't give you a more hopefully answer.

Found it!!! Finally got the step stool and looked up on the back of the top shelf of the "baking ingredients" upper cabinet. There it was behind something! When my kitchen was 80% finished, I was told I could put things in the cabinets and drawers. Since my DR table (and floor) had been in chaos for months, I jumped at the chance. Then I left town for nearly 5 weeks! When I got back, I could not remember where I'd put much of anything as I really hadn't cooked in the kitchen yet! Slowly but surely, I'm learning where I put things in my own kitchen! At least I need not order another plum pudding. Anyone who loves them but does not want to go to the bother of making one, should order from Mother Sperry Plum Pudding <http://mothersperrysplumpudding.com> "Mother" is a hoot - just a totally delightful woman with a great sense of humor (just read her web site!). She also donates most of her profit to a local charity.

Based on Chemocurl's suggestion try this but be careful as it seems tricky. Just take your time and watch which item is highlighted. Windows 7 seems to use a very light accent around some highlighted items making it tough to see where you are.

Hit the 'Windows' key
hit right arrow button once
arrow up to highlight 'Control panel'
hit Enter
use the arrows to highlight 'Find and Fix a problem' - the fourth item down on the left column
hit Enter
use arrows to highlight 'View all' on the extreme left of the screen
hit Enter
arrow down to 'Hardware and Devices' - the third choice
hit Enter and a new window pops up
'Next' is highlighted so hit Enter
The computer will now run the repair tool and hopefully fix the issue
