Toolbar wasn't locked. Whats a vertical drag bar? And how would I drag open the address bar if I don't have or see one? Sorry, I'm obviously very inexperienced and confused. I do remember moving a "separator" to inactive because I couldn't see it or know what it did. So I've put it back but still dont see anything there. (By the way, because I didn't see it I added it again and the word separator went in again.But still don't see anything.) Please don't laugh. I'm really trying.Thanks, Sandy

just do the little work around it is super easy just some dragging and dropping involved just right click the taskbar and unlock it before you start, choosing toolbars then NEW toolbar is very simple and then dragging and dropping the new one on to the desktop is just one move. When you right click on that new one on the desktop you will be able to see the address bar option to select. Once you have that then just grab onto that new toolbar and drag it back to the taskbar next to the start button. Thats it now you have your new address bar toolbar on the taskbar. You can leave the other one on your desktop if you want or just delete it or drag it to the recycle bin. But you do want to remember to right click on the taskbar and check to lock it so it all stays in place.

Loralee, that has happened to me several times, I am blaming a herky jerky finger sometimes, and sometimes when I play cards, the task bar has a mind of it's own, so when these things happen, that don't happen often, and I am staring and wondering What happened? I write the solution down in a little book I have, so if it happens again, at least I don't have to come into the forum to find the answer. I know most of the time it is my own fault, and I feel somewhat bereft about that, I am a senior, and should know better by this time. regardless, I always appreciate the help provided by the great gang here, and know it will always be available. I have the incredimail problem. I see that incredimail's approach was to suggest that users remove the latest update which seems like a poor solution. I know it is temporary, but it sounds like incredimail doesn't have a big staff. I'm not sure the other issue you all mention is a loss of the Tiles view (don't know the name of that view), but that's what happened to me. I couldn't switch to that view via the Win Key as expected. However, after going to the remove program area and getting rid of some old bloatware, the Tiles View returned.
