I have heard of a product called Vipre is it any good and has anyone here used it?

I have always used Norton Antivirus and now I have read that they have discontinued this product and also Norton 360 as well. They are going to Norton Security and they are charging $79.99 for it for a one year subscription. That is really high and from what I've read Norton is not listed as one of the best Antivirus Programs. I want to protect my computers but I don't want junk.

What do you all think would be the best protection from your experiences? Thank you so much for all information given. It will help me a lot to make my decision.
