I got a call from my mom that a box is waiting for me. My swap partner is Nancy. I will pick it up and post some photos tomorrow. I am excited. Thanks in advance!

I woke up to another classic Maine winter morning (think Ansel Adams only less dramatic scenery) - all the black/gray/dk green trees covered in yet another pretty layer of snow. While I love snow this is cabin fever season and I am wanting spring and technicolor.

And so is JoeBear... I am sorry I can't seem to load multiple photos.

I love the towels and the scrubby. I am particularly fond of the green/blues.

JoeBear absconded with the scrubby - but I rescued it.

Next up a variety of Cherries from Cherry Nation. Yummy - I love all cherries with the possible exception of maraschinos. I am especially looking forward to trying the salsa. I like other fruit salsas.

MIchigan cherries? YOU SCORED! What a colorful and flavorful gift! I love Joe Bear, he's a cutie pie!

And lastly some Michigan maple syrup - to compare with the local stuff. A yummy project!

Nancy - Thank you for sending some bright colors/flavors to my colorless world. I love all of it! Amanda

ps and the Cherry Valentine booklet is nice too.

Amanda, I'm glad it got there. I hope you enjoy everything. It may have been the dark, cloudy, snowy winter weather here that drew me to those towels. The colors put a smile on my face. I'm glad they brightened your day too.

I think this winter has been terrible for many. We have so much snow, I don't know where my snow plower is going to put any more. I'm fed up! We just got another 8" yesterday.

Enjoy the foodie things, Michigan cherries are the best!

Nifty swap box! The towels are so cheerful. What a nice bright spot on a dreary winter day. Joe Bear is a cutie and has good taste in scrubbies.

Cherries in several forms. You can never go wrong with cherries -- or real maple syrup. Yummy.

I love what Nancy sent you Agmss. Those towels are so colourful. And the little scrubbie is really cute. Michigan is known for their cherries so I know that those are going to be delicious. Will be wonderful in scones.

I remember Michigan Maple Syrup from my days living in Grand Rapids. What a treat.

    PS. Joebear is adorable.

I love those scrubbies! I haunt craft fairs and have bought them on eBay . MmmmmmmMichigan cherries and adding some brightness to drab late-winter days...perfect, Nancy.

Agmss, I have a nearly identical picture looking down my driveway, lol.

Well, since I'm from Michigan, I'm very partial to the Michigan cherries and the maple syrup, so I think Nancy did a great job. Everything I've had from Cherry Republic has been good, so I'm sure you'll enjoy those a lot.

The colors in the towels are so nice and bright, and JoeBear is adorable. I might have let him keep the scrubbie, he's so cute!

Very nice Michigan swap package, Nancy.

JoeBear probably got a whiff of Nancy's Lab, Roxie. :) And decided that scrubby would make a nice chew toy and he's better snap it up quickly before that other dog showed up. He's adorable.

The cherry goodies look scrumptious. Maple cures the winter blues, doesn't it?

I love microfiber cloths. They are the best for every cleaning task.

I like Michigan cherries also and especially with dark chocolate! I also love the Michigan maple syrup and always look for it. The cloths are definitely cheerful and look especially nice in a bundle. I'm not a dog person, but JoeBear is especially cute (I'm okay with small dogs), and photographs very well.

Pictures of snow scenes always look like alien planets to me, and the colors are always so weird - but that might be from clouds. By my calculations, winter should be over in another week, since March is officially spring. I do remember being shocked at how drab New York was when I first went there in December.

I love the blue foil paper too, if that's what it is!

You can't have enough Michigan cherries or cloths, but that snow--looks like enough is enough!

    I love your puppy.

I'm so glad you got such a nice cheerful box after doing such a good job on mine! The towels are really pretty colors. I like the blues, greens and purple too. But they're all nice shades of their colors. That Joe Bear..too funny. I'm sure you'll enjoy everything thoroughly. All of the cherry offerings look great. I'm a dark chocolate fan and with cherries...yumm.. That will be so much fun to compare the syrups. So far I've only tasted mine out of the palm of my hand......several times..lol,.... Enjoy!
You did a great job Nancy. Now I want to see more of that pamphlet!

    JoeBear is adorable!

This is a lovely swap box! I had one of those little srubbies a while back. I loved it! I love me some towels so those would have me jumping for joy! Those cherries look amazing!

    Nice job Nancy!

This box gives new meaning to the term 'pop a cherry' and I'd better stop there

But I won't, LOL. Nice 'regional' package'. I just love what our country has to offer, from every state. Those towels are nice!

As I saunter back out into our 75 degree weather.....

Hmmm... How do I stick my tongue out to all of you who live in warm sunny places? Another snow storm is coming tonight something between 2-10 inches of wet oobleck.. The chocolate covered cherries got scarfed eagerly as we were working on the next shop project - a tea box for my uncle's wedding. My 80 year old uncle is marrying his high school sweetheart.

Sorry I didn't get a better photo of the booklet. Here is a better one though.

Thank you again. I am doling out the cherries more carefully. They are different than any dried cherries I ever tried before.
