Barb...both happy and sad....Happy he is moving forward with his life. Knowing he will go far as long as he stays focused on his studies, and learns to quit being so wasteful. Sad because he is moving on and we will be seeing very little of him in the next 4 years or so. We havent made any new life adventures yet. House needs some TLC. I suppose first we will get used to having a home with just us and the critters and go from there. Chell I used to be a dog and cat groomer. I loved it too. But my employer was a deedeedee. Never had the money to pay me each week and always "owed" me. And she never gave me my tips either.Then at the end of the year she reported more earnings for me than what I had really made.Fortunitly I kept records and proved my case and won, so make sure you don't let the same happen to you. I have kept my clippers, blades and accessories and still will do a neighbors dog or two once in awhile to keep my skills up.....but don't miss the hair stuck in places I did'nt know existed....lol. No experience with Vonage, but my sister has the Majic Jack which is similar. She loves it. There are a few hiccups because of the internet provider she uses, and she has an older computer which sometimes causes problems with delays in answering calls. She chose that because she had a friend that LOVED her Vonage service. But the Majic Jack was only a one-time payment per. She was told that the difference is that vonage rents the service from other carriers, whereas Majic Jack owns their lines (or whatever they are called). The modem in my computer stopped working. When I get it fixed, I'll probably try Vonage or the Majic Jack. My computer is faster than my sister's so it might work better.

tilleys26, Jack's magic will work well to keep the iron in solution. I would suggest that you use a filter aid in your sand filter. This will help the filter hold the fine particles that it is unable to catch. Don't worry about the chlorine until you get the water cleared up. Sand filters work fine once the water is clear. DE filters work much more quickly to clear the water. Go to a pool store and ask about a filter aid to add to your sand filter. Be patient and continue to filter 20+ hours a day until it is clear. Water trucks generally have iron tanks. You may have traded one iron source for another. As the water starts to clear you can start raising the alkalinity and calcium hardness. Good luck.

I think maybe we are getting it straightened out. I did finally get through to them and they certainly have tried everythihng. Apparently someplace some one mispelled my name and for some reason someone got the credit card mixed up. they had 2 different names and 2 different credit card numbers and codes. A real mess. They have cancelled everything and started over fresh to register. They'll send me an email to-morrow and hopefully it will be all straightened out. From the few calls I did make on it, l was well pleased so think it is good to be determined. Thanks everyone.
