Update on Crazy....I definately didn't sign up for this

Thanks guys....I am just about shot. Don't even want to go into the family drama that happened tonight resulting in me refusing to go to my sides Christmas, but if you have been around the last few years it is the same crap another year so I am not going to subject my family to it this year. Nope not gonna happen.

Good news Peyton' cyst is a thyroglossal duct cyst and should go away on its own. Hayden is starting on another 3 weeks of antibiotics and Rhiannon goes in on Christmas Eve and has her throat scoped to look for nodules on her vocal cords( the 3 were at my folks and went to the ENT dr for Peyton and had them look at the others too) Hudson is only congested in his head and they gave him another 4 days of prednisone. The poor little monkey is also in the middle of his 6 weeks of age growth spurt so wants to eat all the time, is croupy, gagging and sneezing.

We get to go back for a recheck for Peyton's cyst, scop Rhiannon's throat and if Hudson is still sick look him over too on Christmas Eve and for the first time we will spend Christmas eve and day at our own house not at my folks. I can't put my kids through the stress from my family and I am at my wits end as it is. Add to that I am in the midst of a gall bladder attack, and won't have surgery til the first of the year, I just want to spend a couple days at the hospital. The middle two are at my folks but I want to get them back asap because of family issues and just will have to muddle through things with health and happiness needin our attention at this time( being typed with tears in my eyes)I know that it is just something that we will have to wait out, but enough is enough already:)

Yes we have your back !! you are dealing with way too much as it is, you have to stick to your objective of getting yourself back to health and taking care of everyone at the same time.

I agree that staying home at Christmas is the best plan for you, a normal routine day filled with good cheer.

Anyone in your family wanting to help out should bring you food and let you be.

Aww!

I think after all you've gone through a nice, relaxing holiday at home might be just what you need. I was thinking we would enjoy this too ... but alas, we're traveling. Hope everyone feels better! SOON! :(

I don't remember clematis every coming up so late. I think I lost a new one, however, despite mulching. Maybe it just was too soggy of a spot. I still hope it comes up but time's running out. I also lost my Japanese blood grass and northern lights grass, but they were soggy spot. My Endless summer hydrangea survived fairly well as did the Tiger Eyes sumac. I had big sections where my lamium died out completely, which totally surprised me. Sometimes the plants survive and stay green, other times at least the roots survive. I'm not worried though, enough did survive that maybe I can fill in the area once again. Glen

Goodmorning Everybody ! :) I heard from my swappers last night...:))) Mariann I have a couple of surprizes for you...We love putting surprizes in our boxes Regina started it.. Chell you are so creative and your writing is so much fun to read... I bet the boys loved playing pirate.. I can see their smiling faces now...What a great idea to make a hideout.. They will always remeber their hideout mom made for them... Norma I havent traded with you but I am sure you went way above in sending her nice cuttings..I seen pics of what you send...They are awesome boxes..:)) Please dont be sad..:)) Regina howdy :) I am so sorry about Mark having to have surgery and the heart condition would just send me into heaven.. Wow I am so glad to read it all went well...Shooo My heart sank for a minute...He will be all healed for college this fall..:)) You empty nester dont go through what I went through...Stay busy and call them alot... I miss my kids so much it hurts sometimes... Dogs are okay but they cant replace our true babies...I love reading about chell and her boys... It makes me smile so much... Frances lol You poor gardener..ahhah You need a break from mother nature..Really..:)) Oh big snakes yucky... I would be screaming... I love chippies...They are so cute...Havent had many around with a cat now...Kiki has brought home two gardener snakes...He was very proud of himself... Yesterday I was getting ready to go out and play in the dirt...The crows or blackbirds were screaming...It just like a scene in the movie the "birds"... It creeped me out really bad...I couldnt see what they were yelling at.. I watched tv...Than got bored and went coleus shopping..lol The master gardener sale for the next county over is tommorow... I cant wait to see what they are going to be offering..I have never been to this one...Oh I almost forgot..I heard from the master gardener I met...Looks like we are building another gh..lol She wants to do it closer to fall since everyone is busy with their gardens...I am glad we could help her..They are a pain to build.. well I gabbed enough lol must be the strong coffee and I got a lot of sleep...:)) Have a good day everybody..Barb

VICTORY!!!!! We had another 2 week delay because of some fence permit issues. We got the green tag from the inspector yesterday and they had the plaster guys out the same day. Hi Everyone,, I sat down to work on my blocks last night - hoping to get a great start on all 12 blocks...I had found the pattern I was going to do - cut all of my pieces for all 12 blocks....that's a lot of pieces...only to find out that once I had pieced the first block, there seems to be a problem in the pattern because the pieces don't line up.....so it's back to square one - I think I've found another - pattern....but not sure that I can recut any of the pieces that I've already cut...we'll see..but this time, I'll cut one and put it together to make sure that it looks right first....Guess we learn by trial and error.... Oh Stacie, what a mess. Four kids and sick at Christmas to boot.

The good thing is that the kids are small enough that they're going to be excited no matter what, in spite of the baking that doesn't get done or the decorating that goes by the wayside.

Just get them better and feel better yourself. I agree that christmas at home is your best choice, and it might actually be kind of nice to not have to pack up four kids and a husband and go out into the snow!

I just wish things were going better for you now, but at least you're able to be getting things fixed with everyone's health, eventually. I feel for you so much, and am pulling for everyone to get better sooner than expected.

I have to admit that one of my favorite Christmases was when I came down with the flu, and couldn't do anything with anyone or for anyone for Christmas. We just stayed at home and had a Christmas with just us and the kids. In spite of a fever and feeling yucky, it was one of the most fun Christmases I've had. No worry about getting things done, no having to travel, no obligations - I just got to be lazy. I hope you get to be lazy for Christmas, too, although with all those little ones, probably not. Nevertheless, take care of yourself.

Merry Christmas, Stacie! I know you & your family are having a very tough time right now with illness but this shall pass & I'm betting that staying home with the kids will prove to be a great decision.

Hope your DH's diabetes is under control & he's feeling better also.

Hang in there, girl. Eventually, this will all be part of your holiday memories.

I haven't been here much, but please know that my prayers and special "girls rock" thoughts are being sent to you in overtime. It's so tough having four kids, and family issues (believe me, I know) so I am with you, in heart and spirit.
