Decisions decisions. They're going to be great dogs, both parents are registered and working stock dogs and even do a little agility on the side for fun.

Oh, man, I can't begin to say which one, but there's one fior you in this pile. Try to wait until they are at least 8 weeks oldm tho, to remove them from the litter. As a breeder, I can assure you that this is bes for the babies.

I think you should go visit the babies ASAP..you never know which one will touch your heart more..You shouldn't set you mind to the one either until you bring Ben around to them to see which one he takes to.

I have an Aussie/Border...She's 8 and I'm so glad she's finally settled down! Right now she's out back putting the neighbors Shepard/Pit into her place. Dixie climbs the fence and comes and visits.. Jillian only tolerates her for a while..Dixie has way to much energy for Ol Jill! LOL

I love Aussies. Tough choice! They are all beautiful.

The Merles are pretty... but that little tri-color would be my choice I think. Oh - they all are wonderful, have fun chosing!

Have fun choosing, it's hard. My Roxie (choc lab mix) came from a big liter. I knew I wanted a more submissive dog rather than an alpha personality. I just watched them all and held the ones I liked the looks of..... Roxie just seemed the right choice. I really feel she is my once in a lifetime dog...

Oh my, are they ever cute!

When we decided to get a dog, we went to look at this litter of German Shepherd pups. It was really hard to choose one, they were all so cute and sweet. We ended up sitting down on the ground with the puppies, and let one "choose us". They all came around us but one little guy jumped up on my lap and played "king of the hill", chasing his brothers and sisters away. I knew right then he was the on! Mojo is now 10 years old and the most wonderful, loving companion and great watchdog!

Peter I sorry for your loss of Parker. I know how special he was too you. I loved the photos you use to post of him. Hard to believe that Ben is already four.

The one with the eye streaks is my fave! My sister has an Australian Shephard. Real big baby who is always getting into some type of trouble! But real affectionate. My Duke was one of 13, and although the 'experts' said to not pick a meek puppy, I did anyway. He was scared and shy and trembled and peed on my wife's lap when we took him home. He is very submissive and just the best dog in the world. He turns 12 on thursday and is the dog of my dreams. Good luck with whichever pup you pick!

Peter, sorry the read that Parker is gone, but I am happy to see that you are up to a new one. Follow your heart when you pick one. Sometimes your "once in a lifetime-heart dog" can happen twice. I know, first I had Ashley and now Dylan.

So get out the chew toys, stock up on bitter apple spray and piddle pads, afix the baby gates and post some pictures for us.

Just close your eyes and pick one. They are all so cute!! Just for looks, I like the Tri's and the Merls, but that's just me. My neighbor has a merl Aussie named Magic. Nice dog.

Oh Peter, I'm so sorry to hear that you've lost Parker, I know he was so special to you.

A new puppy? I like the tri colored one....no, the black and white one.....well, maybe that merled one with eye markings....no, definitely the tri-color. No....wait....

I'm sorry, I'm no help, I know, they're all so cute and fuzzy. Hug poor Ben for me, will you, I know he misses Parker nearly as much as you do. And here's a hug for you, too.

With the others, I am so sorry for your losing Parker - it's terribly hard, isn't it. Our grey 15-year old Aussie died last Dec 26, & we finally, 2 weeks ago, have been able to get another dog. She's a mixed Aussie & Golden Retriever, 3 yrs old. She has the coat & color of the Golden, & the build & personality of the Aussie. I think we're in for it. :)

Thanks all.. Well I made my gruelling decision two days ago and took the tri. It was a tough call but he sort of clicked. He's a real sweetheart, well they all are at 10 weeks. I'm not relenting this time and he is going to be crate trained.. so far so good, he goes in and doesn't make a peep all night or during his daytime naps.
As for a name... well since I like simple names for dogs I'm calling him Pip. He knows it already and comes running so that's a good sign LOL
Ben is coming around to him, not as fast as I thought he would at first. He's given Pip a couple of warning nips already when he gets to rambunctious. The funniest thing was I was tossing a ball for them and naturally Ben gets it first but Pip came running up behind Ben and leaped and nipped him in the butt just like a true herder. Ben quickly swung around and returned the favor. Poor little guy runs back over to me to hide LOL

The one who looks like Parker! Yippee. I love the name. My dogs growing up were Flip, Rip I, Rip II and Rip III -- the name Pip really works for me.

Pip! that's perfect for an Aussie! He's a cutie!

OH yeah!!! Pip is the one that caught my eye too. I just love his name. Ben will come around, probably just a bit jealous of the new baby.

Yeah, a new puppy! I love his name and he is such a handsome boy too. Ben is just setting the house rules for Pip, so you won't have to.

I am always amazed at how the breeding comes out....with the pup nipping at the heels and the toy poodle bringing the toy back again and again. My first miniature poodle loved to do the retrieve the stick from the lake thing...over and over!
Have fun watching the little guy learn what he can herd and what won't be herded!

Oh Peter, he's so cute and fluffy and full of it. Peppi is right, Ben's just setting the rules and Pip will learn them soon enough, LOL.

I'm glad to see that he's already protecting you from that vicious broom and leaf sweeping can be very dangerous, so it's all for your own good. (grin)

I want more puppy pics!

We got a big dump last week and these were taken when I let him outside about 730 am. He wasn't sure at first but once he figured out it was safe there was no stopping him.

It took about 5 days before Ben accepted Pip but they get along famously now with Ben playing mamma. He's very protective but the play fighting sounds absolutely ferocious

He's an adventuresome guy! What a cutie. I love Aussies.
