It's possibly starving for fuel. If it has an O.E.M. inline fuel filter, you might try replacing it with an automotive filter so you get greater capacity for storing the stuff that a fuel filter catches before becoming "stopped up". I like the clear plastic kind so you can see if it has trapped water. I think you probably have 1/4" fuel hose so getting a nice, robust filter at a local parts house or even Wal-Mart is no trouble. Pay attention to the directional arrow pointing the right way to install it. Don't worry if you see a pocket of air in the top of the filter that won't go away, that's normal and does not mean your are sucking air or anything. The reason I suggest it may not be getting enough fuel is that you say it starts well and runs well until you try to cut grass. If it isn't acting strangely otherwise, it might not be getting sufficient fuel to meet the engine's needs when the real load is handed to it. Go out there and try to mow some grass the way you did before. Do this for about 15 minutes and then cut off the engine right there (so you can read the evidence on the spark plug tips without running the engine without being loaded) Let it cool down a bit and remove the spark plugs to inspect the tips. If the tips are dark black and sooty looking, you are getting too much fuel and/or not enough air. In that case start looking for a restriction in the air induction system (air filter and check any ducting leading to the air cleaner for foreign material, like a mouse nest). If the tips of plugs are white in appearance, you are not getting enough fuel and the engine is running too lean.

If you insist on going for free hosting, scatter everything out. I have about 7 mb of pages and pictures at web1000.com, they say they offer 50 mb and unlimited bandwidth with no ads. But they have undertaken quite a sneaky redirect feature. There is also angelfire.com with 25 mb of free webhosting. I don't know how much free hosting Yahoo has but you could include it for some. Then there is that 10 from your ISP. Is that a total of ten or 10 per screen name? If it is ten per name you could conceivably get much more by creating more names. Personally, if I had that many pictures (jpg's)I would pay for hosting. Powweb.com , gisol.com , ehostsource.com and ipowerweb.com are some good pay hosts for the money. Scattering that many pages and pictures to free hosts would be a bit much. There are many more hosts and free hosts you just need to search the web. If you take the plunge and get a domain name some hosts like gisol include a free one. Godaddy.com is a good deal for $8.95 a year though. I'd definately do some research because good deals are all over the web if you look.

it seems like your powers of observation are increasing ... as is your learning curve ... but we are wondering if the conclusions you are coming to ... are correct .. when is the last time you switched out the media in toto??? media is a water management system ... that also manages air flow ... when media starts breaking down ... it can get mucky or retain too much water ... which also reduces air flow.. and all that can lead to rotting media... which can lead to natures decomposers which include mushrooms and molds.. etc ... and that is why the peeps above... are wondering about your conclusions ... never stop theorizing.. and never stop learning... ken

There's nothing normal about my little old house. There are no returns upstairs. There are two ducts. There's a small room on one side of the steps and the other is a big room that opens at the top of the stairs, a duct in each room. There is a return at the bottom of the steps, right behind the fan. Here's a photo. There is a floor duct just around the corner to the right of that door (not the door behind the fan) and it really puts out. And there is another wall duct to the right about 3 1/2' down the hall, blowing across to the staircase.
