Why is Vista Antivirus on my computer??

I use Windows XP have had it a long time. Today for some reason Vista Antivirus 2008 has installed itself on my computer, started some scan and says it found over 200 SEVERE threats to my computer and wants to charge me $49.99 to buy the protection to remove it.

But I have McAfee through AOL and I did run the virus scan with that and it came up with No Threats.

I can't get rid of this Vista icon, tried adding/removing programs, it won't go away. Then I get a pop up window that says Warning, Attack Detected!! And it gives me the option to continue unprotected or to activate now, which will cost me.

I dont' have Vista on this computer whatsoever.

Can someone help me fix this? Many thanks.
