I looked for any recent postings of yours and can't find any. I know you're right in the meat of wrapping up. Heck, the computer might be in a box now. Hope so!

Hi Guys! I've been out of town. Went to the AAU National Track and Field Junior Olympics in Knoxville. My little qualifier had a wonderful experience and we are so proud of her.

We got back yesterday and I'm happy to say we signed our certificate of occupancy last night WOO HOO! Only a few things on our punch list so we're going to start moving in today!!!!!!!!

Everything looks great and I'm sooo excited that I'm about to burst. I'll be taking tons of photos and will post them asap.

Our builder completely stocked our fridge and pantry with cokes, water, lunch meat, cheeses, candy, chips, cookies, paper plates, plastic forks and most importantly beer. :). That is really going to make the move a lot more enjoyable. I thought that was really nice of her.

You guys will be hearing from me and seeing some photos soon.

Wendy, Thank you so much for your box. I recieved it as I was walking out the door heading for my long drive to DC. I hurried and opened it and wrote a note to Jason with directions for the plants. The plants looked great and I love everything else that you sent :) Wendy sent me 4 plants, one that I know is sedum, and maybe a vine looking plant, and the other two I am not sure of. - pot hanger decorations, I do not know the 'real' name of what they are. But they are really cute and will look good on some of the pots that I painted :) -lighthouse statues -little stand with a flag -scrapbooking paper -butterfly windchime... that was my favorite!! If I forgot anything, please remind me! Again, I was on my way out the door, and I am writing from memory. Thank you so much Wendy, I loved your gifts!

Hi Melanie! Thanks for the update! I like it when you fill us in on what you've been up to, because you're one of the few KT members I've actually met. I'm so glad you're finally getting close to your career goal. That's been a long haul, and you are to be commended on your progress. You really have come a long way. I agree with what's been said here. Have fun with this new guy, but keep some space between you two until you get a lot further along in your career, and until you know him a whole lot better. This is not the time to go "off track". I agree his dad sounds like a charmer, and that always makes me suspicious. That's just me, though. I just want you to succeed, have fun doing it; and not get hurt.

Just terrible so much devastation, I have emailed all my dear friends there to check in. Oklahoma and Louisiana are in the path now. Such a scary situation, definitely been there and hope never again. I hope nothing else comes of this. The flying truck trailers looked like pick up sticks. Amazing to see.

It still hurts, is very swollen and the color is changing from a bright red to a lighter red and blue. Gonna be real patriotic looking tomorrow. I made the potato salad yesterday. Today, I seasoned the ribs wrapped them in foil and threw them in the oven. Thanks for asking Glenda. I am on my way to bed for the night after taking 2 Tylenol.

COOL !!!

The food and drinks is awesome. My builder showed absolutely no thanks at the end. A simple card would have gone a long ways. Heck, we didn't even get our keys at closing, we had to go track them down at his office..........but enough about that...this is HAPPY TIME!

Congrats C.Dawg! Pantry & fridge stocked w/ food, beer, etc.! Wow! But she's a woman, right? Go figure! That's good girl, have exhaustingly fun time!

How fun you're moving!

I copied your mentioning the stocked fridge and forwarded it on to my builder & his secretary. Luckily they're pretty easy going so it's something that I can bring up and razz them about. It honestly is a fabulous idea! I'm actually thinking that it would be a wonderful housewarming idea for friends of ours.

Congratulations Charliedog. You are probably wiped out and exhausted after a weekend of moving. Can't wait to see photos when you find time to share (not to rush you.... LOL).
