Did the wireless switch get turned off accidentally? That's the easiest fix. I had to Google for the information on starting wireless in Vista since I have very little hands on with Vista. You need to start wireless service. Open Control Panel, change view to icons. Open Administrative Tools and double click on services. Find the one labelled Wired AutoConfig and double click it. If properties show as anything other than automatic, change to automatic. Stop and start the service using the buttons on that dialog box. Click OK. Repeat these steps with WLAN AutoConfig. Close the windows and attempt to connect to the network again.

There should be instructions with your printer if it is "wireless" capable. I am not familar with Epsons as I have HP, but I expect the procedure is similar. Before you begin, you will need two pieces of information: The network name of your Router/Gateway and the security code sometimes called password. The ID name might have the form "2 wire488"; the security key may have 8 to 12 digits. Often, the security key is on a label on the gateway/router. With these two pieces of information, enter the setup menu on your printer and turn on the radio or whatever it is called. Next, follow instructions to connect to your gateway by suppling the gateway ID and security code. If the instructions do not appear on yoru printer's display, get instructions from its manual. After the ID and security code have been entered, there will be a short delay while the printer and router establishes the wireless connection. Once the printer has been linked to the router, any device on your local area network (LAN) can send print jobs to the printer. However, the sending device must contain a driver for the printer. Once the link has been established, the printer should be able to retain this connection after being shut down and restarted at a later time. Optionally, the link can be turned off at the printer by entering its menu and turning off its radio. This frees the channel on the router. The link is automatically re-established when the printer's radio is turned back on.

Open your 2wire router? to the wifi page and copy the key to the hp printer? Sounds simple enough for the security key anyhow.

I assume that I will have to change my remote id from Comcast back to the remote that originally came with my TV. Are we talking about the remote control for the television? If so, it is the remote that's programmed to work with the TV, not the other way around. Although some "universal" remotes can be iffy with advanced features, so you may be best using the original remote control for the TV. If the TV is Internet enabled and you want to use a wireless connection, then the SSID and password (if security is enabled) must match that of the new router. Of course, you could change the SSID and password of the new router to match the old router. Also I have a second tv upstairs that I would want to also use this wireless connection. Would I just have to buy a second modem/router and use the same software that I would get from AT&T. No. One of the functions of the router is to distribute the Internet connection to computers and devices in your home via wired and/or wireless connections. Again the upstairs TV would need to be programmed to the correct SSID and password. Also I have a second computer about a mile away that I would want to hook up to this same wireless connection also. Again I assume I would just need another modem/router and use the same software once again. That would be problematic. WiFi just doesn't have that kind of range nor could you run a mile long Ethernet cable. You'd likely need a second service from AT&T. I don't know about Earthlink. Most ISP's give you a free email account (or in some cases, multiple accounts) with service. You will need to ask Earthlink what happens to your email account if you discontinue their service. They may allow you to keep the email account active for a small monthly fee. AT&T will give you a free email account with their service as well. You may wish to just migrate or use one of the free services like Gmail or Hotmail and not be tied to the ISP.
