With MS Office 2007 or 2000 just open Outlook and the setup window appears. Probably the same for other versions. Follow along and at some point you will probably be asked if you wish to make Outlook your default mail handler.

urlee, I know what you mean about dialup. I just got high speed in February. I did find the answer to my problem with OE. Just on the off chance something might show up I checked my e-mail settings at my server for my e-mail. When I clicked the button to make changes it showed I had nine letters (shown as dots) in my password, but I knew it should have only 8. I deleted what was there and re-entered my password and saved it. I then went to OE and low and behold it worked. I have no explanation how the password could have gotten changed since it has worked since Feb. when I got high speed and they helped me set up OE as my e-mail. I don't know what my friend did to give me a little more speed, but I don't think he would have been in my server website. Go figure? I am just glad I found it, and it is working. the excel page is your file you need to do as bob said and click file save as then select that it is in the correct format as mentioned the csv, then take that saved file and import that into your outlookexpress. It will not just go from gmail to outlook you must save the file then go to outlook express and choose the option to import address book go to that file you saved select it and import it.
