It was 90° today, and so I'm not looking forward to warmer weather, except that warmer weather means that I will be able to use the pool without heating it. Our warm weather will cool a bit for the next few days but still be comfortable. We will spend March in L.A., but I will come back in April, and by then I will start heating the pool again, although maybe not to 87°. I'm going to try 84° and see if I can find that comfortable. I don't want another large gas bill. This weed has been blooming in our front yard all winter. Kevin wanted to remove it, but I like it, even if it is a volunteer plant. I have no idea what it is, but my guess is that someone else may have planted it in their front yard. It does not need much water, but it will probably go dormant during the summer. I'm looking forward to having a pizza party here - hopefully in April.

mostly your goals have to do with looks. I would reinforce a good lighting plan...but if you want to chew on some surface changes I would look at rattan for the drop pendants and fixture..I would get an area rug under the table I would paint the wall area around the windows I would get a new backsplash I would get runners//mats in the work area that coordinate w dinette area rug. dont forget hardware..that can really change the feel of the cabs. I like these wall colors..really saturated... [ but maybe go lighter] it would be interesting w the green in the next room over. any neutral whether creams/whites/taupes in other things you do will work w this color......find a color for that window wall... rugs are easy to get on line..any size..lots of choices.. taking a cue from your lighter woods and simple style of table/ chairs and bar stools....get into rattan .....It will be a more fun /lighter vibe against the existing cabs/ counters. I think youd like such a change . here is a change..... nickel or stainless hardware on dark cabs...more detail for your space...

I used mail hold and mail forwarding for about 4 years. There were errors, usually caused by the relief carrier. My postal carrier worked 5 days a week, Sundays off, then a different day off each week, week 1 was Monday off, week 2 was Tuesday off, etc During the 4 years, I was home enough to find delivered mail that should have been held or forwarded. I used both hold (3weeks max) and forwarding. After talking to the regular carrier, the relief carrier was occasionally delivering my mail instead of holding or forwarding. I do not know of any problems caused by my mail not being held or forwarded. I had a large locking mail box. I moved about 4 years ago and had my mail forwarded to my new address. There may be a process where the post office notifies senders of my new address. I do knot know of any problems caused when I moved. At my current address, I occasionally receive mail addressed to neighbors and based on the dates of periodicals, some of my mail is misdelivered. My previous carrier and my current carrier are very friendly, they seem to be efficient. People are more apt to complain then praise. Mail hold and forwarding helped me. A neighbor used to pickup and forward my mail, but she moved.
