Put Your Best Fruit Forward in Splendid Fall Arrangements
Luscious, colorful and unbeatably fresh, fruit-centered arrangements bring welcome flavor to fall home decor
I love fall colors. Not just orange, but deep reds and purples and bright sunflower yellows. I also love flower arrangements. I love them in that I think they can change an entire room. Oh, and I love fruit, especially the fall kinds: pears, apples, pomegranates, figs, persimmons, oranges.
But what I really love is all three of them together. A big, colorful fall arrangement with fruit. Gorgeous.
Whether fruit is tucked in among the petals or standing alone in a vase, it adds texture and color and a sculptural element. Also, fruit makes you want to eat — perfect for this foodiest and most hospitable of seasons.

How lovely are these kumquat branches in a white bucket? Simple and cheerful and elegant.
Fall figs are so beautiful, they can stand alone. This arrangement is simple, natural and rustic but also modern and sculptural. It will also last a long time.
More stand-alone figs.
Fig branches with flowers.
Persimmons and berries are fall icons that happen to be bright and shiny and cheerful. Perfect for a centerpiece.
Using lemons or limes in a clear vase helps stabilize tall arrangements and adds color and texture to the mix.
A large glass vase filled with citrus and fall fruit is a nice alternative to a flower arrangement. It's colorful, but it lasts longer, and you can eat it.
Artichokes are thistle flowers. They add an earthy, homey element to a bouquet.
Here a simple white bowl of artichokes is modern and sculptural, giving this very crisp room a little earthiness.
Fruit wreaths are colorful and perfect for fall decorating. There is just something welcoming and warm about fruit.
A pear wreath. I bet it smells good, too (if the pears are real, that is).
