GE and GE Profile vs GE Monogram! Concerns

If GE has been sold and there are concerns about finding parts, customer concerns, etc. are we not concerned about GE Monogram as well. There are so many excellent comments about GE Monogram Advantiums, Ovens, Fridges and Induction Stovetops yet never any mention of concern. What am I missing?

As I understand, it may be a spin-off and not outright sell but in either case, as has happened with their small appliance division years ago, whom ever would purchase could use the GE brand name for 10 or so years. Parts would be available and service would continue.
Hotpoint sold years ago and lasted many years after as the same brand.

Well, until GE appliances actually are sold to another company, there's nothing much to comment on save for sheer speculation, which offers nothing actually useful.

Thanks. I am not all that worried about it, but I wanted to see if there was anyone who already had both in place so I could get some feedback. Actually, it wasn't until the person I called at GE made it sound like there was a noticeable and appreciable difference that I became concerned! My cooktop is mostly black with a stainless rim, and my dishwasher is ss, but none of those things are close together, or close to the wall oven or fridge, so I was not that worried. I'll probably still go with both the Profile and the Monogram. Thanks again...

Last year we built a new home and went with the Monogram. I wanted the handles, gas stove and the 240 Advantium. We are now currently building our 2nd new home, but I am preferring the Profile's handles this time.. and just don't feel the price difference is worth it, since I have been told that they really are identical, except for exterior features and price.
