I just recommended this game on another post...Pictionary. It's always a fun game and you can choose how many team members you want per team. They also have a children's pictionary game....

We just had our "Christmas Tree Cutting" party. My whole family (15 of us) all go to a tree farm and cut down our Christmas trees. Then we go back to my mom and dad's house for lunch and games. This year we played quite a few games. 1. put lots of different objects on a tray, hairbrush, matches, watch, magazine etc. (about 20-25). Cover the tray with a towel. Give everyone a paper and pencil. Now take off the towel and give everyone about 10-15 seconds to look at the tray. cover the tray up again and have everyone write down all the things they remember. The person with the most number of things right is the winner. My sister ran this game this year and she even had some bonus questions to break a tie, like what time was on the watch, what colour was the hat of the guy in the picture. etc. 2. The other one that was lots of fun was to put everyone into teams. Give each team a pair of mittens. The object of this game is for each member on the team to put the mittens on, walk up to a table with a bowl of candy and unwrap a candy from the bowl. When they have unwrapped the candy, they pass the mittens to the next person in line. Put out one candy for every team member. We did it with candies wrapped in cellophane, but to make it harder I would use foil wrapped candies. I hope you have fun, we did. Happy Holidays.

I am doing the tray game but using just Christmas related items. Tinsel, ornament , tiny light, a fuse, ribbon, etc.

Then we use the words Merry Christmas and see how many words you can make out of it in 2 minutes or so. Of course we have dollar store and craft made prizes for the winners.

How about the chocolate game.
you need mittens, scarf, hat, fork, knife, dice and a choccolate bar.

every player gets a turn with the dice every time someone gets a 6 that person has to put on the mittens,scarf and hat and then use only the fork and knife to open and try to eat the choccolate, but the dice still makes the round till next 6 is up and then that player has to put on the mittens, scarf and had and try to eat the choccolate with fork and knife.

Bingo! We play bingo on Christmas night at my Mom's house. We get some dollar prizes (at the dollar store!) and a few better ones and have a great time. We have snacks too! The prizes are all numbered so there is no picking what you want - you get the next prize. Of course we all want the same good prizes. This year I would just as soon skip all the gift giving and just play games but no one else agrees. Merry, Merry! Kathy
