Toto Toilet - Where to put the Tissue Box?

I'm looking to get a Toto Carlyle as it's available in non-ADA height, comes in one piece, and is easy to clean on the outside bottom section, but when I saw it in person I noticed the top part is slightly angled. As someone who has always had tissue boxes on top of the toilet my entire life, I am at a loss on what to do for this toilet.

Do people just not put anything on there? Where do you put your tissue box? Thanks.

The designers of this toilet don't wish for us to upset the flowing lines they've created by sitting our stuff up there. To defeat them go to HomeDepot and get "earthquake clay" which is intended to be used to create a removable yet somewhat sticky and pliable clay like material to hold our vases and fine china in place during earthquakes. Roll this into little balls, larger in front, smaller in back and mush your tissue box into this. If done carefully you can't see the clay under the box unless you sit on the floor. It also holds the box in place nicely when you yank on a stubborn tissue such as when a box is newly opened.

Heh. We had the same problem. We just ended up putting our tissues on the counter...

I bought from Homeclick for the best price at the time and free shipping. My only negative comment is made, as an environmentally conscious person, on the packaging. Everything was packed with humongous foam-type bolsters, which cannot be recycled, reused, or even reduced.

I posted a question about Eco Promenade Toto Toilet. There is a plain Promenade Toto as well. They have a round version and a ADA height. That is why I am wondering about this model. I have read some poor reviews, from 5 years ago I believe, but since have heard that they are now modeled with the same Gmax that the other toilets have. I have not much info about these models but one poster here, Mudhouse I think, likes them. She has a small bathroom too. I had posted her individually before I made my general post her on this forum.

We've had our Totos (Dartmouth, Plymouth) for several years now and, while they were a huge improvement on the builder-grade Crane models they replaced, they're not perfect. But what is? We've had to unclog them several times but that doesn't begin to compare with the almost daily problems we had with our previous toilets. We've also had to replace the flappers - once on each toilet. No big deal - we just keep an extra flapper ($10) on hand now. The impression I have from reading CR and others over the years is that other companies have improved their products and, as a result, you can probably find any number of good toilets out there now. Personally though, if I had to buy another toilet today I'd stick with Toto because they always seem to be on the cutting edge of toilet technology and everyone else has to work to keep up.

My cats LOVE toilet paper! Not to eat but to use to mess up the house. If I'm gone for even just a weekend I'll come home to find the house TP-ed. They drag it all over the house. I've learned that I need to hide the toilet paper in a cabinet or else I come home to a mess. They just sit there looking at me "I didn't do it" is what they're thinking. I think they're trying to tell me something by their toilet paper antics. They don't get into anything else when I'm gone so I have to be sure to remember to hide it. And like sduck2, one of my cats loves to lick the plastic grocery bags. When I come from grocery shopping I set the bags on the floor when I'm unloading them, and my cat will lay on the floor and just lick away.

The Ultramax is slanted too. Nothing on top of mine. Ceramic tissue box is on the counter.

It's not a Toto but I noticed too late that the top of my new toilet is overly rounded. Now, the tissue box is on the windowsill. Not the end of the world, true, but not ideal.
