Dedtired - the tub is Kohler Devonshire in white. It is 20" deep and I ADORE it, especially after having a really old, 14" deep tub.
I'm searching for my shower/niche pics... will try to find and post.

Really nicely done. Love the blue counter top and the mirror. I wish I had stuck with a tub and shower doors for my guest bathroom instead of a full shower...you made a wise move.

C'est si bon! I bet the blue countertiop is just stunning in person! I like your choice of the dark countertop with the light vanity. We have a similar hall bath and have been thinking through the details for our remodel for over a year. We chose a dark gray Caesarstone slab, almost like French Blue limestone, but definitely not sparkly like your blue.

Personally, I also like the shower doors. We recently decided on rectangular sconces for the vanity that will have a "frosted" glass. I thought it might be nice to do a shower door with glass frosted maybe 2/3 of the way up for privacy. Need to think on it more. We have little wall space and I was also thinking of maybe doing a shower door handle/towel bar as you have done.

Is the shower door Kohler as well?

Rookie - the floor is a porcelain tile called "Statuario" that has a sort-of-similar look to marble..but I'd be the first to say that nothing can replace the beauty of true marble. I'm actually second-guessing my choice not to do marble on the floor afterall... too late now :( But I do like my floor. And the case is obviously closed!

The blue walls were actually supposed to be light gray -- "Silver Mist" by BM, which looks very light gray on the chip but looks rather blue on the walls to me! I might paint again... don't know yet.

Circa1957 -- your counter top sounds so nice -- I'd love to see that! The color of my vanity is a little off due to glazing that I didn't want. So I'm thinking of painting it to make it whiter...
I really am liking the shower doors a lot. They were made by a local shop that my contractor uses. The bottom piece that attaches to the tub is rather wide and slopes just enough for the water to drain off and it's so easy to clean -- not like the older ones. So far, the glass and metal have been easy to keep clean and not a single leak at all.

I think you were wise to choose the tub/shower option so you can take a shower or a bath. My Mom is 91 years old and when I had my home built 3 years ago I thought I would change over to a full shower with a teak bench for safety purposes. She comes to stay with me about 2 times a year and I do think she is OK with it now, but she would rather have a tub. Plus some guests prefer baths, so I sometimes end up sharing my master tub or just having folks stay in my guest cottage as it is bath/shower option. Anyway...that is just my experience.

Your blue accent tiles just look awesome with that gorgeous counter. Post a picture when they rearrange your Venetian mirror and light...that is fabulous. I have a similar mirror at the end of one of my halls...they are so beautiful.

We are doing almost the exact same choices for our kids' bath... blue pearl with white subway and blue glass accents.... you gave me great ideas for paint and floors, it looks so clean and pretty.... it is so nice to be able to actually see a finished room, so hard to picture what it will look like someday.... so glad I ordered the Blue Pearl after seeing yours. we are still getting the plumbing into our huge project..2 baths -laundry rm- sunroom - master closet- and decks, so have a ways to go, as I write this a huge truck is pulling into my backyard with sheet rock..... dreaming of the day it is all done and I don't spend my day with my house full of people and no longer have to shower in the garage.

Love it! The counter and little blue tiles are so pretty as is the faucet. The mirror is beautiful. You should be so proud of your bathroom!

Lizabeth -- thanks so much! i found the blue accent tile quite by accident in a local tile store. i was looking for subways and found those blue accents. i have no idea who made them and the order form only has a number. i immediately loved them. I had no idea what I wanted as accents until i saw them and then held them up a hunk of blue pearl which I had already purchased for the counter. Total accident - or fate! i will try to call and ask about them for you this weekend.

PinchMe -- sorry I didn't see your post till today. The mirror is a "venetian style" mirror that I purchased locally but I have seen them online too. I just wanted something really different, sparkly and sort of focal. My home is a small bungalow and this bathroom is in a hall off the dining room. If I have "dining room dinner guests" they can see that wall of the bathroom from the table. I wanted something that would look pretty from the dining room view.

I so appreciate all the comments! My favorite thing of all is the glass door knob! I did my kitchen in 7/08, where I have 3 doors and I started with the glass door knobs then... slowly replacing doors and knobs through the house. I think I've become a door knob freak! Really, I just love them! OK, I'm very happy with my new bathroom, everything -- but I so love my glass knob! Haha!

I love your bathroom. I keep coming back to it as it's amazing. Were you ever able to find out who made the accent tiles? I've never seen anything like them and I've been looking! Hubby signed off on the blue pearl in our bath after I brought home a sample and showed him your room!
