what is it you like so much about the house? It looks beautiful on the outside but according to what I saw on your realtors website the inside is pretty common for houses in that price range. Did you ever think about finding a house with a beautiful interior, a yard you like and change the outside to the craftsman style you appear to like? Think about how much the potential house costs, how much you will spend altering the yard (while taking care of a small child and newborn) and then what is the return on the house if you decide to sell. The market is slowing down quite a bit and that has to be taken into consideration. While it is true houses are meant to live in they are also investments. I do not know anything about the area you are looking in but read up on functional obsolesence. If there is nothing in the area to compare it to there is no value in it. If you over develop your house it will only price so high meaning you spend $$$$ on a house put $$ inside and $$$ outside, you might only be able to get a very small percentage of that back on a resale (if you are lucky). Youe could lose quite a bit unless of course the market goes back up which I do not see happening. Think beyond the emotion on this one. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. It can be a heart wrenching thing to fall in love with a house and then have to deal with the big BUT. It happens to me all the time. I found the perfect outfit but it does not fit (but I can always go on a diet but the reality is that a year later it is still hanging in the closet with tags on it and now going to Goodwill), found the perfect TV but it does not look right in the room I wanted it for (but I can always put it in a different room and then i still have to buy a tv), found the perfect car but hate the way the seats feel (but I can always replace the seats but I will be uncomfortable for now)...no matter how much I love it the "buts" come into play. With patience you will find what you want with a smaller sacrifice. You probably did not get the answer you wanted here but you asked for advise and I assume you wanted honest opinions. I hope we made you think of a few things before making such a large commitment. You are talking about a half million investment so invest wisely!! Yeah, just when Dear Daughter was old enough to stop doing really weird things to our computer monitors, a couple of cats came to live with us. I don't know how they do the things they do, but it's really annoying to get my windows perfectly arranged on the screen to monitor various job streams to have the cat go bug hunting and log me out of my sessions. Figuring out how to change the font is just a matter of wandering the menu bar, and looking for options that look useful.

you did not mention if this is xp or windows 7 but doing a real quick system restore to the day before it happened might fix it and it won't hurt anything. here are the directions for xp. System Restore, accessible by clicking [Start] [All Programs] [Accessories] [System Tools] [System Restore]. then Choose from the bulleted options on the right you want to restore your computer to an earlier time. The calendar on the left will have dates in bold. Selecting a day will show the restore points available for that date in the breakout to the right of the calendar. Select the restore point you want and click This would be the day before your fonts changed. Then click next to restore your computer to the earlier date and time. Your pc will reboot just leave it alone let it do it's thing. That is it you are done. very very easy to do and all it does is put your settings back as they were on that date. If you are using something other than xp let us know so we can give you the appropriate instructions.

kudzu9 you can certainly do a lot of changes to the firefox chrome which is that entire area where the various toolbars are, it would be by making changes(editing) the UserChrome.css, some things can probably also be changed in about:config in firefox also. I think there are some extensions that are additional toolbar buttons which allow some of those changes by using the customize feature as zep mentions, you would add the toolbar buttons extension which adds many more options and buttons to that list. If you do some searching you can likely find ways to get it exactly how you want it. I have my firefox chrome very customized. The use of various themes is of course another option, and may well be the easiest route, if you go to the themes page and search for AEON Big and AEON Jumbo those are both themes for sight problems HiVis Large 3.5.3 that one is part of the Access Firefox project for sight impaired. Access Firefox I think the Anycolor theme in Access firefox project is the most customizable and allows you to change the size of all of the writing on the bars in the firefox chrome, it is an excellent choice for a very customized firefox especially for those with poor eyesight.
